Normal spark plug life is 30k -40k as mentioned by tiniptee. Platinum sprk plug has life of 60k - 80k Iridium ones have life of 100k, and thats wht i have in my car to never doubt spark plug again.

Looks like thermostat isnt opening in time or either radiator has has air bubble in it which is stopping the coolant to get circulate properly. Cold start the car and open the radiator cap and keep adding coolant every minute as it goes down until it stabilizes it completely. Once stable switch off car and start again and top up. Do this exercise two times and close the radiator cap and re start the car and drive for half an hour and and see if light goes away. If not change the thermostat.

i wanna know how do i disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump without using any special tools? mine is a 2002 cadillace XLR , I have already taken the access panel off and can touch and disconnect the wires to the fuel pump. all i need to know is to how to disconnect the two fuel lines without breaking any connections.pleas help
