I remember that GM recalled more than 100,000 models in 2002 or 2003 due to potential fuel leak problems or something to do with a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor that could have led to fuel leaks ... something along those lines. the De Ville went under a lot of criticism after that. No wonder they discontinued the name and the car type.

05 did have electrical problems too ... i have gone through the trouble.

Hi there rocky I quite don't really understand which kind of noise you are talking about .. it can be anything ... does the noise seem to change when the engine changes its temperate? (Since you mentioned that it is louder when you reverse) ... can also be the transmission. Have you tried to identify the source of the noise?

Oh and I forgot to mention the 2013 XTS comes with magnetic ride control. Definitely worth taking a test drive even if you don't plan to buy it!

when i was driving above 120 the car started vibrating slightly. should this be a concern?
