  1. Jump start the car and remove the battery and see if car is running then that means alternator is fine. Then you can doubt the big battery fuse in fuse box 100 Amp something. There is no other thing to fail than battery and alternator, if you change the battery then it seems alternator for sure. but 1% doubt goes to fuse.
  2. Explorer bumper is a concern for sure, as i had before and if you learn how to drive it without getting too ambitious following some offroad modified cars its fine. In desert in extreme weather it also heat up a bit if you run longer at higher revs, thats wht show the AT light also and effect transmission too. If AT light comes on, give rest and then drive. I have done six months in cool to moderate temp and never had AT light come up. Only front bumper was a concern when i climb up the dune. If you lift the car then on road ride quality and comfort will get affected. So i wouldn't advise that unless you have bought this car only for desert and have other car for road for office run / family run.
  3. Hi Ghassan, welcome to Ford community. About your AC outside smell close the outside vent and hit the button that show recirculating icon which will close the outside vent preventing outside air coming to duct and will recirculate the inside cabin air only. If you have tried and still it doesnt work, then go and say hello to Al tayer as 2010 model must be in full warranty now and let Al tayer spend some money and fix that for you for free. For wind deflector outside go to deira and there are plenty of shops selling car accessories will have this. Go from shindaga side and as soon as you come out of tunnel take right from first redlight. Tons of shops there.
  4. Shock absorber needs a change my friend. No oiling its just the age of shock absorber is such that after its expiry they make noise to tell you to spend some money.
  5. get the tyre balance, after hitting sand some sand goes in tyre and it vibrates like this. Sometime too much sometime little.
  6. There is no fuse for fuel pump, however it has fuel pump relay The fuel pump relay is mounted under the dash on the drivers side. Test current draw with ignition "ON" and bridge terminal 1 Yellow/Black wire to terminal 2 Green/Yellow wire and the fuel pump will run.
  7. I agree to edino reply, unless technically sound dont try to remove the manifold. If you still do it for leaning, better get picture at every step and DIY. Its not rocket science its few nuts and screws. Good luck.
  8. very true, i second to vindz in this.
  9. Its a message from transformer. Camaro has been replaced with Mussssstang. Does it also play romantic music channel automatically when u give ride to your girl friend??? In that case i want to buy your mustang.
  10. If any leaks is there from hoses then change the hose, else no need. Water pump change is expensive as good as radiator cost, so chage radiator first and if still problem is same then go for water pump. You might save some bucks.
  11. It looks like gear solenoid is faulty, get used one from shj scrap for few 100's and get it checked if it solves your issue. If not you the know the place (al tayer)
