  1. Very difficult to get all three points in one paint, you have to source some special paint protection coating after the Repaint for saving from chipping and fast fading, my 6 years old car look 30 year old now.
  2. I guess Nissan navara is also same.
  3. I heard this story few years back from am Arab friend, whose was using this diesel engine oil in petrol engine and also praising it. not sure what happened after that.
  4. Hi Imaan, your friend thinking is just a thinking and assumption. Companies making these single cab especially American boys like Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge etc think and consider this fact 100 times more due to NHSTA presence in US and their rigid rules for safety. If you are held up due to this fact to not to buy, then check their safety rating esp rollover ratings and make your mind.
  5. I agree owner has done favour on ugly odyssey to make it look more moderate appealing.
  6. In all fairness this guy got too much limelight being an Indian spender, every year RTA auction so many number plate and no one ever talked about it.
  7. Great mind think alike, I swear I was about to write AAA name and @Rahimdad did that already. If you don't mind spending little extra for peace of mind, AAA is best and almost close to AA standards in US and UK.
  8. Thanks @Rahimdad for liking my post, as most ppl here don't like my harsh truthful words, but I still continue. You made my day man or rather weekend
  9. Well I can even stretch that to 7 generation by investing that money in right lines unlike this showbiz.
  10. One more year older, huh. Happy Birthday Carnity and to all of us for being together for last 6 years, which seems like yesterday. Kudos to all my great friends and haters here for sticking together.
  11. Well I agree with cyborg advise fully, but if they sell you from the drum - which is the case in most of the times in Mobil1, make sure you yourself read the drum specification. It happen once long ago with me that I needed some specific grade and they were about to pour 20-30W lesser oil. When caught they shamelessly react - it's fine, this is normal and acceptable but if your really want 140 (in place of 120) then we will sell you from bottles which is few dirhams expensive.
  12. I don't deny with your thought process and sometime it works, but most of the time it fall short. The thing or point I am trying to make for Brandan is that going with known big names is a safe bet to be rest 100% sure that quality will be awesome, which supposed to be main factor.
  13. Not sure, when and how you found it slow. It was always fast as cheese cake for me.
  14. Well it should be, at least that's what it sounds from the news. Only point is not to share or publish it publically for name/shame that's it.
  15. For a real professional level video quality I think nothing beats the gopro level, not even sony. For action camera the main important point is to choose based on quality it produce in simplicity. I mean which action cam can produce the best quality out of box with or without tall claims of 1 million stabilizer, gimball, night shot enhancer, bigger / smaller lens (marketing crap). Consideration about battery is pretty much irrelevant, as 30 mins crisp video is better than 4 hours of shaky, blurry or half crisp video IMHO. Handfree operation is plus, but not game changer, quality still takes the precedence.
  16. As @brandan mentioned @treks proved. lol. Haroon it is serious, but only if you your car is 1000 hp lamborghini that will loose control, in wet road or aggressive driving. In you Camry case it is not even close to be worried off if you are not an aggressive driver. Secondly to fix this issue, I would ask you to get it check open power or ground leak to this module which most of the time throw that ABS light. Second you should be checking the open / short circuit in the CAN bus circuit. Hope it helps.
  17. I have been out today whole day at the backseat and observed, three places where people were using the warning triangle in an absolutely wrong way in Dubai in Al Khail Road, Old Emirates Road and in Al Ain Road. First guy kept it behind the car, but may be 1 feet away from the car - useless. Second guy kept on top of the car, showing his car is not working - useless. Third guy kept on right side and blocking half lane and pilling traffic - Dangerous and Stupid. All of them were wrong approach. Here are the few right way on How and When to use AA or AAA Car Safety Warning triangle: You should place AA or AAA Red Warning triangle at least 100 - 300 feet (steps) away from your vehicle. If you have two warning triangles, then use one at 50 feet and other at 200 feet away. The Best. You should NOT place Warning triangle in middle of other lane, unless someone is working under the car and that too for quick few minutes in totally empty road. Blocking or pilling traffic in a busy road with your emergency situation by using a triangle in middle of other lane will invite a HEFTY fine. In emergency drive/push your car to hard shoulder (in yellow lane) and stay there until help arrives with hazard indicator on. At max, you can open the hood, to indicate that your car is broken and help is on its way. No triangle needed. Use of warning triangle is only required when visibility is bad in no or low light area, curved road or uphill/downhill road. Personal Suggestions after seeing many life threatening accidents here: Park your car even beyond the hard shoulder ending line (if possible), as many reckless driver overtake in hard shoulder. Never let anyone exit or use right side door, even for 5 seconds, as it's damn risky. Never stand on right side or behind the vehicle and wait for the help to arrive. Always be in inside the car, if you can and switch on the hazard indicators. If you cannot then walk ahead at least 5-10 meters and then stand on left side (within hard shoulder yellow lane).
  18. Very valid point, just like ultra rich will never drive BMW 7 series or Mercedes S class. If you see these older model driven then guy is wannabe rich and got the few years old car for dirt cheap to show off, but couldn't afford a driver. lol.
  19. Off course, you can share numbers, addresses of good workshop and capable guys no matter how big or small they are. After all that's why we have this community here for sharing experience, which can help others.
  20. Mercedes Maybach Vision 6 is a more than 7 meter long coupe electric car. 0-100 in less than 4 seconds and capable of going above 300 kms on full charge. Who like the design here? I'm kind of swamped with ultra rich and long looks like a boat or a yatch for the road. Shows in one glance that I'm filthy rich, boyz. Please get aside.
  21. Listing below car batteries in order of good to average and also most expensive to cheapest. I have tried 6 out of 10 batteries in last few years. Energizer (Made in EU and offers 18 months warranty) Amaron (Made in India and offers 18 months warranty) Duracell (Made in Austria and offers 12 months warranty) Bosch (Made in EU and offers 12 months warranty) Varta (Made in Germany and offers 12 months warranty) Exide (Made in India and offers 12 months warranty) Trane (Made in Thailand and offers 12 months warranty) Solite (Made in Korea and offers 12 months warranty) AC Delco (Made in Saudi Arabia and offers 12 months warranty) Zeetex (Made in Korea and offers 12 months warranty)
  22. @Saleem boats pay the tax to government to build such light-house and that's why no one bother to thanks. Community is a different stuff, that everything is free but SHAMELESS people should learn to come back and thanks for free advice to motivate the knowledgeable people to share and help more needy people. More important than my point of thanking, I think @Barry nailed it very well that people should come back and share their solutions in community so that it can help others in future as a true knowledge base and not just the community of askers and suckers or lurkers.
  23. Community spirit with lazy UAE car owners, doesn't work together and that's why they love to get fucked over and over again with rip off car services workshop and stealers. With almost 14k users here I only see 50 people active (at max) who understand the real meaning of community. Remaining 99% don't even thank after getting the help and solution. This posting and documenting steps is too much to expect.
  24. On everything Saleem said he is right, except the CVT gear is MOST FUCK ALL thing known to mankind. For desert use you can't even step on road side sand let alone the camping dreams with CVT gear. Google a bit and you will know why.
  25. You really love the color red! huh. Nothing much done inside was a good pun intended.Very nice work especially in the mixing three different breeds of Subaru.
