  1. I agree. Not to mention the ancient look even for the newer models. Goes to show how they are lacking in creativity.
  2. I agree it is spacious and comfortable but that is it. That is all the Expedition has to offer. For its class it offers only 22/32 kmpg and its steering is slow. Yea fine it has a 5.4L V8 engine but even so i think it lacks power. The interior materials are painfully cheap and of poor quality. You might want to reconsider. Just my honest opinion!
  3. God - I am really sorry to hear about your problem ... now we have to worry about the mouse around here as well how about you keep a pet snake now Did you manage to find it? May spread rat poison in your car and then have it cleaned up ... and do the practice every time you leave your car for a long period of time?
  4. After so many explanations this probably wont matter but ... Have you tried turning the ignition to ON and letting the fuel pump pressurize the system for 5 or 10 seconds before cranking it? On some cars that helps 'em crank the first time.
  5. Hi Frans! My dad's Explorer had the same issue. His shift motor had failed. If your explorer has more than 100,000 miles then it most probably is the motor.
  6. Well Ford wanted to create a small engine with a turbocharger for that "good fuel economy" factor ... HOWEVER *drum rolls please* reviews have proved that turbocharged engines produce worse fuel economy when they are placed under high load ... so ford incorporated it as a selling tactic - dont get me wrong the technology is great but they need to be applied like hyundai is to its sonata - the engine needs to be powerful enough so that the turbocharger is not used in the city or the highway - turbochargers should only come into play when it is okay to forget the 'good fuel economy' concept.
  7. The jerking when changing gear is maybe caused by low level of gear oil/transmission oil.
