I am also having the same problem. The gear shifting happens with jerk when the car accelrates initially after starting or slowing it down after high speed. The O/D light flashes continiously. Looks like transmissions issue is a very common problem with Ford SUV's.Internet is full of such issues from Ford owners. Have given the car for service and check up today. Keeping my fingers crossed.
