update on this heard from Ford ME that a retro fit kit will be available in 4th qtr this year for Edge / Explorer to add navagation function to 8in MFT screens in 2011-12 models

just a quick update, heard from FORD ME that a sat nav solution for MFT in Edge / Explorer will be made available in 4th qtr this year as a retro fit kit enabler

Hi Amv, if you find out a solution can you post on here please? as seems there is GPS hardware installed in MFT but no maps / software issue apparently

Hi all, does anyone know if you can connect an external Sat Nav like Garmin handheld to the MFT system through bluetooth or USB connection to display on MFT Screen?
