  1. Toyota Yaris is very reliable car for daily run especially daily short runs, but not for trip around UAE. Dont take me wrong, but car is too small for going so much long distance due to serious issue you might face is car is too small to stay in one lane in hihway on hispeed. Second issue is I have not heard any great news about yaris duoing that level of endurance to drive for hours and hours. Third if you plan in next three month be careful about extra heat that UAE will be expecting and make sure that car engine cooling system and air conditioning is in top shape to face 45+ degree heat.
  2. hahha for dubai getting self driving cars in next 50 years may be. as all new technology happen in world and then in end reaches dubai. iphone 6, apple watch, sony z4, samsung s6 all get launch in asian and us area first and then in end it reaches dubai. for cars its more bad as dealers here only bring the low spec cars and make it mid and hi spec in jebel ali by themselvs.
  3. Hope you know there are two places in sharjah that has scrapyards. Once is behind the troy university area and other is behind al falah plaza opp abu shagara area. al falah will have more choices for amerikan cars than the other places.
  4. On phone and on fast lane..... Seems like a worst combo. Many times people drive slow in fast lane like an honor of doing something they shouldnt do and when you dip light they act dumb. It's not funny at all those moroons need to understand that and respect roads and speed limit.
  5. Well buying car needs a reasonable and logical solution than just looks, there is nothing wrong in choosing car as you like the looks but before that several comparison should take precedence. Toyota engineering is so awesome that iit offers amazing reliability which results in less maintenance and that less maintenance and good reliability results in hi resale value. And all three reason, encourage businesses who use cars too much to buy toyota, whether its Dubai Taxi or Delivery cars or Rent a cars or pickups. Toyota is no.1 car in Dubai in all segment from basic models (corolla, yaris, tiida) to midrange (Camry, Rav 4) to SUV (Prado or Land Cruiser) to Pickup or Hiace (14 seaters) mini buses. Second, I think comes Nissan pretty close to Toyota reliability and slightly expensive in maintenance and that's why slightly less in resale. Third comes Honda, Not bad in reliability, expensive in maintenance but very bad in resale. Looks depends on taste, ( I dont like their looks, I prefer Toyota looks better). Fourth comes, Mitsubishi. (Just to make Honda boyz happy )
  6. Which year model you are referring to? I have civic but I never bothered about fuel mileage to be honest in Dubai as fuel is so cheap here unlike other part of world. One tank last about little more than a week, that's all I can help. Honda website says 6 L/100km. If that helps.
  7. You can get same stuff 40-50% cheaper from spare part dealer from outside who sells original spare parts. There are few shops in Deira naif market or in Sharjah Industrial Area. Divya, Majelan, sindabad are few names I can remember.

  18. Its really confusing man! Tell me which is more accurate: oil light or the dipstick? Sometimes when i see the oil light on the dash, i check for the level of engine oil. Then i use the dipstick, and the oil level is perfectly fine. So it means the oil light is blinking for no reason. So please, someone answer me. What is more accurate?
  19. Well No. Recently the battery of my car was dead, and replaced it with a new one and paid for it, even when my car is under warranty. Well I don’t suppose that any kind of replacement is included in the warranty.
