Registration Troubles I live in Abu Dhabi and have a 2006 modified Wrangler which required registration last month. Ive owned the Jeep 1 year and it came with 13 month registration so this was the first time I had to get it registered. After hearing several different stories about the passing of modifed cars especially in Abu Dhabi & as some minor work was required anyway I took my car to a Jeep repair garage in Dubai to carry out the repairs and get it registered. That was over a month ago and I still do not have the car back yet! I have been told the car failed because of the steel bumpers, they were changed back to plastic for passing at which point it failed again on a lift kit and the tyres! hard to believe all of this had to be changed back to original and then back again in orderto pass the test. I STILL dont have car back yet.. Has anyone had this problem and would the test require the removal of non standard tyres and lift kit??

Please provide a telephone number for this recommended garage. I will be travelling from abu dhabi so need to discuss before turning up on spec.
