  1. Brake pads and disc is consumable item and there life is totally dependent on how it has been used than the number of years. If brake disc has certain thickness then its safe if mechanic advising then better listen or take second opinion with another mechanic. Brake disc shud be in between 5mm - 8mm thickness if its lower than you shud change as it might break while braking and wont be able to stop the vehicle. Its more risky if you drive full load car at high speed.
  2. hello guys, finally a website for dubai... anyways i am having an issue here that is i just had front section of my exhaust replaced on my i40 ,my garage guy said that the car requires a new sensor as they could not mend the existing sensor as it was threaded i want to know that can a second hand sensor be re threaded or is new one really required. please advice at the earliest cheers
