Dont know what is the problem but the service guys in sharjah are good and professional too. have never experienced the Dubai one. Very sad to know that they dont give importance to customer service.

Santa Fe 2012 3.5 - Driving Down from a hill....
hameed replied to goldust2012's topic in Hyundai Santa Fe Forum in UAE
Is it OK to drive at 5.5 RMP? What will be the effect on engine? Answer: Yes its ok to drive at 5500 RPM, Long stretch driving at 5500 rpm over 10 mins will reduce the engine life due to component wear and tear. But occasional short use doesn't bother engine at all. -

Get the HVAC duct inspected from good AC technician in Al quoz garage, they will open the dash and swim through to find a fault. It might cost few bucks but its good to check as that smell is of something burning....! -
New model stuff is usually sourced from dealers only. Try shops in BM road in shj and see if they can source from dealer at cheaper pricing (they do this too).

how do i clean the fuel injectors of my 2000 Hyundai
hameed replied to aldrin's topic in Hyundai Sonata Forum in UAE
for cleaning the injectors run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner or it is called fuel treatment in with your fuel fill ups. they are available at most petrol stations like Enoc and Eppco. -
Its right under the wiper area access from the hood open and grill removed under the wiper. If opening because there is no water in wiper jet, then try opening the jet with sharp pin and see if it works. As often times these jets are badly clogged with dust.

You must be using with AC vent on, if not then its time to change the AC fliter (Pollen filter).

If speedometer isnt working, then check fuse no: 16 and 17 first. If they are fine then it cud be sensor. In your car there are two sensors. One is roughly between the master cylinder and the coil pack on the transmission. Connector C09 for a 6 speed and C10 for a 5 speed, but they are both in the same spot. And another one behind the transmission access from below the car.
