Happen same with me 2 years back and i wrote nice strong letter to Infiniti Japan and within one day dealer here got everything to fix my US spec car.

120K is a good price haggle a bit and get it. Maint is 10k and cost depending on which service it is major or minor as per km: roughly 600 - 1500 dhs i would say. FX till not i have not heard any gear or engine issue so far, its all good.

Its tough man, i dont think u can change that unless you replace to whole indash unit to new GCC based unit and load GCC maps from DVD source.

Your gear box needs rebuilt my friend as it seems that clutch plate at lower gear is fried and need change. Its slightly big job opening gear box and changing clutch plates at various gears. While at it, i advise getting whole gear box rebuild if you intend to keep car for long.

Do you mean manual gear, then it shud have tiptronic gear but seeing 2005 model i really doubt it has tiptronic in that year??? If you mean stability program switching off then look for Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) switch and turn that off to have some real fun like spinning and drifting.

the sensor is connected to the reverse light. at times for a start check the connection that may be loose.

If this slight jerk is there when gear change, then better get the gear oil and its filter change. In ermant and mollav case both it could be gear oil oil if its happening towards gear change or downshift.

You can buy original one from shj (BM Road) shops for 180 aed, and get it changed for 50 dhs from any shops in shj industrial area.

EGR is usually located in the engine head near the intake as it control the Exhuast Gas Recirculation back to engine to improvize the fuel and engine management. I am not very sure in your older model EX.
