  1. what's up, guys? i sent my car to the kia service center in ajman today. it was a major service (around 20,000km) so i spent most of the day without it. when i got the car back i was shocked when my service agent told me to have the car serviced again after 10,000km instead of the old 5,000km interval! he said they have changed the engine oil to a new type that could be used for 10,000km. so my next service will be a major one again. that means i will have to save more cash for it! what do you guys think? have you had your car serviced at the kia service center(s) lately? have they told you this too?
  2. my next car will likely be a kia. i'm starting to like the new Carens.
  3. i am no longer using the eco button. instead of 120kph i'm running only at 100kph on emirates road. and it actually works.
  4. so... which is the best kia service center so far? i guess the ajman branch wins for now.
  5. i recently had my car serviced at the sheikh zayed road kia service center. since my office is near there, i left the car there for the whole morning. when i got the car back, they did not bother to record the service in my service booklet (i noticed this upon reaching home). and they did not change the sticker at the door pillar (the one that says when to go for the next service like "10000km").
  6. what's up, guys? my car is due for its 15000km service/maintenance this coming October 27. currently the car has gone around 200km past 15000km on the odometer. i just would like to know how many more kms the car will endure before breaking down before its service/maintenance schedule.
  7. fuel-related question: i'm currently using 95 Octane or Special in my car. is it safe to use e-plus gasoline from Adnoc?

I am surprise for price change part. well that's what my dad said. after all Hyundai and Kia are like sister companies, right?
  9. hi, guys. my dad recently got these new wiper blades for his Hyundai Tucson. and guess what. they're actually wiper blades from Kia, not from Hyundai. according to him, the wiper blades from Kia are cheaper than the ones from Hyundai. does it mean that Kia spare parts are cheaper than Hyundai spare parts?
  10. i stopped using the eco button for now. thanks for the feedback, guys.
  11. hi, guys. lately i've been having concerns about the fuel consumption of my car. since it's a 2.4-liter engine, i'm quite aware that it consumes more gasoline than my previous car, which had a 1.8-liter engine. and i'm also starting to have doubts about the car's Eco button. i just would like to know if there are other ways to reduce fuel consumption besides leaving the Eco button switched on. maybe i have to reduce the weight of the car or drive at a decent speed? hope to hear your feedback on this one.

  14. i am yet to witness glitches like this in my car. could it be malfunctioning electronics due to extreme heat?
