  1. VERY TRUE AND VERY WELL SAID
  2. Over engineering and after few bad experience either they will fix it or keep letting you try for years like apple face recognition, which finally perfected now.
  3. With hungry birds and tougher economic conditions to beat fierce competition, car companies have to try all route to stay afloat. No surprise, but I find it quiet cheap and shallow tbh. Same way few years back here in UAE Chevrolet gave 7 years warranty with a fine print that only for first owner, lolol. I was about to buy my friend Tahoe and slapped with no warranty for you bro. For hacking people will always find a way to jail break, break encryption, back door as far as there is good motivation for those hackers. So dont loose hope and buy a used tesla and will find a way sooner or later.
  4. It is indeed the most precious and proudest moment for all Seniors, Marshal and Crew when we see new Marshal speaking the same language and frequency of the community that we all share.
  5. Yeah I recently heard Keto from one of the offroader. Was it you @Tbone, right....?
  6. I thought so too, but 17 inch size Im not sure comes in 3 ton pickup. 275/65 R17 seems like Cruiser and Patrol type of size, specifically. Diamond always gets the best riddles for us to test, lol.
  7. If you mention which car you are driving to inflate to 51 PSI will help better.
  8. Eat less, burn more. I know for some it might not work, but so far it's reasonably good for me. When I tend to overeat, it shows up pretty fast.
  9. I listened it again and yes after you mentioned bearing my mind was inclined towards bearing, but knowing H3 leaf spring initially my doubt was on leaf spring holding component like brackets, U clips etc. He can go to any auto pro for free tire check and rotate them to see if he hear any noise then it could be wheel bearing. If not he will have a full access to under body to give suspension parts a nice wiggle to see something is loose or broken.
  10. Sounds like a suspension squeak, but too difficult to catch a noise with outdoor and wind noise. Try to replicate the noise in basement parking to isolate the actual noise. Totally agree, all abroad forums are very informative as those cars break and they discuss stuff to help "EACH OTHER". In UAE, most cars are unbreakable or my friend knows it all.
  11. Thanks @Lucky sAm for sharing this. It is indeed a fantastic DIY job you have done to trim the Nissan Patrol Y62 front bumper, also this new style looks more awesome than the stock bumper and very eye catchy. Also please share the details of how you did it, that can help other Nissan Patrol Y62 owners in the future, as it seems this front bumper is Y62 Achilles heel.
  12. Minor play of 1 cm round movement is acceptable especially on US brands as oppose to German or Japanese brands.
  13. Great it was sorted safely. Can you please measure by yourself (not online info) what is the exact ground clearance of your Murano?
  14. 9 email notifications when we all quoted @Lucky sAm since last 5 days went to spam/trash or he is really keeping busy "always" just like everyone here - Always busy - to not to check, read, write or respond. Wish we knew this today morning Thanks @Wrangeld for bumping this post to make me feel less bad.
  15. Please be on time by 6:45 AM (Sharp), as we understand that sometime 5-10 minutes delay is unavoidable and that's why we always factor 15 mins buffer in every drive. Stretching this 15 minutes buffer further is extremely rude to all other member's time who are respecting each other time. Secondly briefing is must for everyone to attend at ALL LEVELS, even if you have attended already few times.
  16. Hope you have checked the ground clearance too to be at least 8-10 inches. If not, you can simply remove the bumper skirt (lower lip) to save at home.
  17. Welcome Syed, please RSVP the drive calendar. And for the first newbie off-road drive you don't need anything other than your 4x4, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  18. Absolutely fine, as far as you can stay focused to learn and drive. If you would have been absolute newbie, then it is highly recommended to drive alone for first 1-2 drives at least. As you have driven before so you know how vehicle dynamics behave in sand and you just need to practice those skills.
  19. It's OK to drive without a flag for the first drive, and we will lend a spare radio for tomo. If you like the drive and wish to continue this further then build on these safety and off-road gears.
  20. Welcome @Szymon Stankiewicz we do have spare radio for newbies that we can share it tomo.
  21. You can contact Admin through Contact us form or on landline: +971 4 2941804 (9AM - 6PM - Sun - Thu) Drive lead and senior members phone numbers are shared on drive post - page1, but only for emergency. We usually coordinate and plan everything here and everyone respond back pretty fast, even on early morning
  22. Welcome @kinnu Kindly provide us the following basic info: Which 4x4 are you driving ? Any prior offroading experience ? If so, where and when? Are your vehicle's front and back towpoints in good condition ?
  23. It's better everyone program 4 new +1 old frequency in their radio so they are ready to tune any frequency anytime. Well done @Frederic for all the research, suggestion and tutorials. Good to to see another radio expert after @Rahimdadmanaging all this single handedly.
