  1. That's an easy answer, recharge - how - its up to the resourceful owner means. BUT after seeing this Tesla up close on sand with barely 4 inches of ground clearance my utmost fear was exploding the batteries that are usually placed at the bottom. While doing these climbs it was making a hell of noise from underbody getting lot of beating. He asked me come ride with me and I said no, thank you (as I don't have 9 lives like a cat).
  2. I myself recorded this video and @Chaitanya D was on top of Pink rock (other side) to take that pic posted on Insta. WhatsApp Video 2021-01-02 at 3.52.51 PM.mp4

  6. I will vote for LC, personally for regular desert outing than LR3 because of lot of cracking, fading plastic + extra electronics and over engineering for GCC climate will make it expensive to maintain 10 year Land Rover than Toyota with minimalistic and proven engineering for GCC climate. That's why LC holds the resale value better than LR3 anyway.

  21. So it's time to fix it properly now with atleast 3 bolt support. Thank God, everyone was lucky yesterday as tow point failure are the biggest FEAR for offroaders and that's why Richard has gone extra mile to secure it properly.
  22. Yes, that's the same guy I was referring to. @DANIEL NOGUEIRA are you really sure that, that's the same place where other RAM has a tow hook installed? This look like lightly welded for bumper support etc. and not MIG welded to be used for tow hook. Generally tow hooks should be with 3 bolts and directly bolted on chassis channel or on cross member.
  23. If you bumped that plastic part after 5-6 drives then ask yourself if this was a one-off accident of you bumping or missing some brake in time. This can and will happen to all of us and you shouldn't be thinking of changing the whole bumper because of this case (only). Get that plastic bit sorted and add 6mm - 8mm bash plate underneath as you already have a metal bumper and good clearance. The more customized stuff you get in this scenario will simply increase the weight on the nose of the car and will restrict your long hill climb in future fewbie and intermediate drives, my two cents. Customized or full metal bumper like Warn and TJM brand will add at least 40-50 kg weight in front. Maybe you can check with other Ford F150 users if they have done something for the bumper. @Francois Germishuys @Jack Thomas @Malachy McGrogan @Melenany
  24. I think they were not stock tow hook, as they are usually front facing in Ram than the one I have seen yesterday - down facing. @DANIEL NOGUEIRA have you installed these hooks or it came stock with your Dodge Ram? Is your Ram, GCC specs? Or any such trim that has sport option, as recently I encountered in one of the drive Dodge Durango with a sport bumper of 6 inch clearance and no front tow hooks.
