Defender is my first love and my first wife. whenever i have had problems with this car i have always done my research and fixed the problem myself. usually i get answers in uk and usa sites as i have not found any local sites. today my Defender is not well and has two problems that is i am experiencing a problem in shifting gear and the its gulping down petrol (bad fuel economy).
