Thanks Joyfulrog. Indeed I have the last model LR3. As I needed it so badly, I went to a garage in Al Quoz and bought the best one I could find - cost was not an issue as it is the family ride. It started immediately after change - I took the old battery along with me when buying the new one and the garage said it had completely died - so at least it is not a major issue Cheers Z

Hello people - hoping someone can help. I went away for a few weeks and came back and the car staretd fine - my wife had started it twice a week and kept it runninf for 5 minutes just to keep it good in the heat. On Sunday I drove to Hatta and came back, on the way back there was a massive sand storm and it lashed down with rain, as expected to dramas and get home and parked, the next morning the battery was totally dead, i had to open the car with the key, not the zapper - I jumped it from my other car and it was fine. I stopped to get petrol after an 30 minute drive and it was totally dead again after the refuel. Jumped it at the petrol station and went on my way, drove for an hour on the basis the alternator would get it back to where it should be. Went away for a day, came back, out of curiosity, tried to start it and it is totally dad again, tried jumping it, and nothing - it wont even jump. Has anyone had this before, is it just the battery or could it also be the alternator? Where is the best place to get this checked out? Or somewhere that will come to me as i cannot get it started. Need to get it sorted asap as it is the family car, my other car is far too small for the kids seats. Thanks Z

A2B undoubtedly, charged me double what they quoted and the work was not completed based on what I paid for, lie after lie and 8 days longer than expected as well. No chance of using them even if it were for free

A2B operate as scam masters. Before I bought an LR3 earlier this year I took it there for the trillion point test they apparently do. Surprisingly it was over in ten minutes and they said the car was totally fine apart from the front left bushes, I asked how much and they explained it would be no more than 1,000 parts and labour. So on this I bought the car from the previous owner and booked mine in to get both bushes done at the front instead of one. It took nearly 8 days, for some reason the parts they said they had they did not - I though nothing of it, then I went to collect my car, attached was a 4k bill. I said this made no sense as when I asked they said it would be o more than 1k per side, I opted for both and so 2k is all I will pay, they said they had to pay for alignment etc... Grudgingly I paid up and left. On the way home I noticed the car veered of to the left very badly, and juddered like crazy at 80kms per hr, so I called them and explained what was happening, they said that this is not their thing and I need to take the car for decent laser alignment, tracking and balancing. I told them I had just picked the car up, that they did work on the front arms and that they also charged me 2k more than agreed just for tracking and holding the vehicle due to their lak of k owldge of what they had in stock - basically the lying little twat on the phone said not their issue and that was that. I will never use them again and discourage anyone else to do so, it was one lie after another then followed by an inflated bill and a car that no longer drives straight.

Hi Sanjay, nope - still unsure where to go to get the best job done. I have gone to Yellow Hat and the prices seem reasonable but I was not impressed with the TV sets - the search continues Z

Hello - I want to put TV in the headrests which should be able to connect to a DVD player somewhere in the car and some games console (probably an xbox 360). Where can I get this done and what is thh cost - if anyone has had it done before was it worth it? Cheers Z
