If after this you have started or sometimes near this event your car feels funky then was the timing belt tensioner replaced and did you saw the old one with your own eyes ? If both things check no then guess your engine cams might have jumped a tooth... could be a distant possibility but not out of equation -
That means you order the glass in advance so when you break it then you put the new one in or at once buy the whole assembly from used or aftermarket and put it on...

Only this week a guys Honda's turbo spooled and the hemi fell off the engine manifold we tryed to bolt it back but the mess was all over the engine bay in the end had to put in another used hemi on it...the guy was greatfull what lovely days... Had even convinced one really nice person that they had 3 right tires on their car and the only left tire was fixed on the right rear side of the car... Guess someone still is trying to convince the driver that everything is fine...

Those clips behind the mirror are really delicate and break at slight tension even the mirror could crack if your hands are insensitive...99 out of 100 will break....

A really good thing will be to ask for your old parts and packing in which the new parts came that way you can Google part numbers and know where it belongs

I was doing the same work on a pajo this week what I did to sort it out was removed the front diff oil to check something crazy has not happened inside yet then poured new oil and then removed front differential actuator boot and lubricated it then changed the 2 switches besides the air filter and it became good And as for driving vibrations you could check the mounts the also contribute to that -

I have heard somewhere that the Toyota cvt is way better than Nissan's or Honda CVT but more data is needed to confirm that statement... -
There are lightweight aluminum floor jacks with double piston lifting system but they make your pocket bleed.... Low profile front end shouldn't be of concern as that is mostly useful for low riding sport cars which here in off roading has no place...

Modifying a 2004 Manual Pathfinder R50
shadow79 replied to Fuad's topic in Nissan Pathfinder Forum in UAE
Usually thermostat removal is advised to squeeze out last remaining life of engines as full time water is circulated through the radiator for cooling... then in some cars the engines are designed such that the removal of thermostat brings in heating issues directly or sometimes later down the road as water or coolant instead of circulating the engine it just enters water pump and leaves for the radiator leaving the block temp running high... If you intend to keep the bay area and engine cooling improved then toss in high capacity thick radiator and fix additional fans that way you can push it even in peak heat hours and get better overall performance as the radiator is exchanging heat in a much better way... -
Dry axels give vibration and so does worn mounts will give vibration at idle to on certain rpms

If gonna shell out then I would advise to get something which is not a hassle to work with...the portable floor jack is the best way to go then
