  1. Well off course every car has a tendency to face some or the other problem. We can never expect that we will drive our car forever without any issues. It’s a machine and so all the car some or other day needs a repair. I know some common issues that I could never ignore in my car, so I will share the same. Leaking: Whether it is oil leaking or coolant leaking, never ignore it. It’s a pretty serious issue in the car actually. Since leaking happens in the engine system, all the auto parts in the engine are in the surrounding to be badly affected by the leaking. And not only that, leaking sometimes is so severe, that is any auto parts is affected by it, then there is no repair possible, but rather replacement is the only option. Steering imbalance: When you realize that your steering pulls to one side, then your tires are becoming dangerous for you. Steering imbalance happens when the tires are in trouble. May be tire imbalance, or shifting or conicity. Reason can be anything, but ignoring is never a solution to this issue. Car wobbling: When you know that your car wobbles too much at high speed, there is a greater chance of accident. I tell you why. When the car is wobbling, it is because of the wear/ tear of tires. And when tires are damaged, they need to replaced immediately otherwise they will make your suffer in the middle of the road when your tires will suddenly slip off from the car. Overheated engine: Well well well! When I had overheated engine, I ignored it to the core and guess what happened? Almost all the auto parts in engine were ruined because of that. Radiator, air filter, head gaskets, hoses, belts and water pump. It was a big loss to me. So if you have overheated engine, don’t be stupid like me and take your car back to the garage.
  2. Well, I always check for these things when I have a doubt that the tires are imbalanced: Driving not smooth: When you feel that your driving is not smooth, and then it may be because of tire imbalance. Basically when the tires are not balanced, the motor that runs the car works really rough and hard and you can feel the same while you are driving. Tire look: If you see any flat spots on the tires of your car, it leads to tire imbalance. Apply Brakes: You can also diagnose tire imbalance when you apply brakes in your car. While applying brakes in your car, if any tire is imbalanced it will pull to one side. Your vehicle will not stop at a constant friction, but rather will pull at any one side of the car. Wobbling when speeding: When you are driving on high speed, and the car starts wobbling, it’s a sign of tire imbalance. Diagnosing at the repair shop When you are buying new tires, and you see any conicity issues in the tire, it means it is imbalanced. Another way to realize it is by checking for flat spots. If there are flat spots on the tire it means tires are not balanced. These things you can always check. If you think that any of these things are happening in your car, you better get the tire checked from your service center. And don’t wait for some special day to come if you have tire imbalancing issue, because it may result in wear/tear of your tires. Also, one way to avoid tire imbalance is regular tire rotation. If you are doing proper tire rotation at proper interval of time, you will hardly get any issue of tire imbalance in your car.
  3. Are the fan clutch also affected by engine overheating and how can we detect if it’s working fine or not?
  4. Sounds really interesting. Even i will try once. Thanks brother for sharing!
  5. The fluid level in the reservoir of power steering is showing low. This never happened before. I have always maintained my car properly.
  6. You know you should always check online or take help from an expert, when your dealers are reporting any kind of replacement. You have complete right to check and ask them what’s wrong. Don’t waste your money like that; consult an expert before your dealers actually do something.
  7. Its quite expensive and complicated as well. Don't do it until really necessary.
