  1. different cars and different models have different ways of resetting lights. Normally, you can't do so without a diagnostics tool. some cars however for normal servicing alarms have ways to reset them instantly however the airbag issue is serious so without checking what the OBD is saying you cant reset it. BTW people normally dont reset such lights, they go to the dealerships. Have your car thoroughly checked out. Safety issue.
  2. Accident? Would you call hitting a curb an accident? but I got repairs after that and nothing related to the airbag came up. Might be a malfunction right.
  3. Exceedingly lengthy process to replace/take out the throttle body and other relevant sensors, not advisable for self-servicing.
  4. yes you are right about the sensor part, it contains the throttle position sensor and the idle speed sensor regulating the fuel to air ratio inside the engine. These sensors are connected with the engine control computer and provides information on what speed the engine idles.
  5. Typically these sensors fail due to exposure to the under hood heat from engine operation or if debris collects on the sensor element.
  6. By the way naveed ... I have an 08. Same issue. My mechanic says its the heating element. I cant replace every darn thing now can I. Dont have that kind of money. a little let down by the manufacturers. PS. any updates?
  7. Thanks for the opinion guys ... i know it is affordabe but dubaicardude is right too ... the previous outlanders did seem to be a little noisy and rough - when you think of an SUV you automatically think of a smooth cruise.
  8. Whyyy do you need the heater for the winter time in UAE?! you have all the right to be worried about your heating system but seriously i don't use mine throughout the year - maybe that one time when I wana check if its still working BTW its not a manufacturing defect if it worked at some time - you need a dealership.
  9. Hi Mitsubishi fans! I recently noticed that Mitsubishi was aggressively marketing the Mitsubishi 2014 Outlander, it seems to be a head-turner as well ... The pictures and reviews provide that the entire vehicle is a brand new product launched from Mitsubishi ... like even the smallest details in the interiors have been changed and modernized. Do you think this is Mitsubishi's big break-through in the vehicles industry because personally i have not seen the company release a better vehicle than this one.
  10. Music system has stopped completely. All that was done was i changed the battery of the car and ever since the system stopped. its Original System.
