  1. Umm guess ill be getting it cleaned and ill ensure that the guys take it out to do it. Don't want to risk the car in any way because it works fine and i know that most cars get problems AFTER they come back from servicing.
  2. no but when i saw it ... it was comprehensively sticky and dirty. visibly it looked damaged so i thought i would be replacing it soon. Wrong?
  3. Hello folks, I have a 98 galant and wanted to get some useful information on what the throttle body is responsible for? I know it has some sort of sensor. Can someone help me. What are the signs of it needing to be replaced? Thanks
  4. Go to the cold area and then turn it hard to the right towards the heat and it will turn. The exact same thing happens with mine.
  5. Can you send a picture of what you are talking about? I think this must be the heat-up button for the engine when the engine is cold ... it was originally introduced in the market by VW but i guess mitsubishi took it up as well. funny how I didn't know that. try it out and tell me if its the same thing?
  6. This is known to be a very common problem especially in old cars - seems odd that it is happening in your 2011 model ... normally a lot of lancer owners complain about this issue as well.. There is more than one reason why this might be happening ... 1. Your tires might be out of balance 2. Faulty steering wheel dampers 3. Bad front tires - need rotating or changing 4. Rotors are warped (better idea from dealership) ETC. - Rest of the reasons aren't coming to my mind .. others might be able to help.
  7. okey.. in my common sense your car is under warranty then ask the dealer to fix your car.
  8. That's sad to know that you were not able to get the alignment done. just curious why do you have to get 2013 car aligned.
  9. Thanks for sharing good service experience in this part of world. Which year Pajero you have?
  10. Brake pad usage entirely goes as your driving style. Min time is 6 months to 2 years depending on how heavy your braking habbit are. Pajero pad cost around 200 dhs.
  11. Anoop, next time you are stuck deflate tires to 15 psi from 32 psi and u will drive just fine in beach sand. What twister mentioning is for sand dunes driving, climbing and bashing.
  12. Montero and Pajero is almost same, and Pajero parts are easily available. However thinking 1998 i would suggest to stay away as Montero was never available in GCC market so it must be import from australia or uk (assuming) and hence after 13 years of life you might need some rare spare part (only from montero) which you wont find in this market and spend too much time and waiting in getting it shipped from ebay or amazon online.
  13. timing belt is an expensive affair and if the menchanic says to change it you better as it also depends on age of the rubber.
