  1. Well changing oil is not a big task if you have plenty of space and right tool. In every car under the engine there is an oil nut bolt (drain plug) that you open and all engine oil will drain. Better to change engine oil when car is cold and everything is easy and not hot. Once you open the drain plug, put the 4-5 liter empty gallon/can/open tray under that drain stream. Let it drain everything and then on either (left/right) side of the engine (down only) you will see oil filter. Unscrew that and change that in every oil change or in every alternate oil change (max). Replace the crush washer and close the drain plug (bolt). Come out and fill new engine oil from top of the engine bay. Check level with dipstick and start the car. Once car reaches normal operating temperature, switch off the car and check oil level after 5 minutes and top up another half liter as when oil filter is new it needs little extra oil, that reaches oil filter only when you start the car. And check oil level once again after 5 minutes and if it stays in perfect safe range, you are done.
  2. What autopart meant to say is remove all the bolts of seat placed on floor and side and then you can slide out and take out seats individually. You can also try the car detailing companies in aweer who do almost same for what you are trying to do and plus they shampoo the seats and carpet. All for 200-300 dhs within 1 day. Or look for some car cleaning companies offers in cobone or groupon site like ultimatecarshine, zain auto care etc.
  3. Well this type of issue needs real diagnose of car to feel the exact jerk you are experiencing. However, if dealer cleaning of throttle body showed temporary improvement then it looks like you need new throttle body or Air Flow Mass sensor as that must be freaking due to too much sand and dusty atmosphere we live in. If you know someone else driving same car, try changing the AFM temporarily to see if problem resolve. Its located on air filter neck (electrical socket square box).
  4. Isn't below link saying same, mate. http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mellor.nsf/story2/FFD0157A64AA1FADCA257BA50025B512
  5. Honest answer: NO, but at the same time it isn't bad and sluggish as many other bigger 4x4. Being short and light you can still do decent sand off road, however best is 4.0 L for off road (unbeatable).
  6. When you come out of shindaga tunnel and go straight towards Old Hyatt, then on same red light of Old Hyatt, turn right and you will have plenty of shops selling and installing these Tow hook / bar and other accessories too.
  7. where exactly did you go in nife? i want to buy deflectors too.
  8. If you go from sahara center side and enter sharjah, take right from main signal after big tire market. On right side in line there are so many scrap guys selling many toyota engines. Be ready it will be expensive atleast 8-10k, my old friend got one from same market for 4.0 v6 and it costed 15k. Make sure you go there with engine number handy like 1UZ-FE or 3UZ depending on u have 4.0 or 2.7
  9. its different engineering. thats all V engines are used more often and are more efficient.
  10. I think it might cost 3-4k to change all, because of one squeaks you need to change all thats the indication of suspension system or else you will keep changing 1 side every 3 months and have bad effect on new one due to uneven wear.

  12. Hey Jayrom, this is Toyota car owners community and not Toyota dealer. I think you you need to contact Al futtaim on this (if they can help). Good luck.
