  1. In my experience, Sharjah has it all.

For the upholstery there are plenty of shops in the Sharjah Industrial area, just need to check 3 to 4 shops and bargain even if you feel he is reasonably priced or within your budget, you will be surprised. Make sure the shops you check at have work and are not sitting idle, as you can check the quality of work from the work being carried out.

As for the stereo, @Gaurav and @Barry are the knowledgeable people, but there are a lot of stereo shops behind Yasmeen Building opposite Sharjah Cricket Stadium who can suggest a do a decent job at a reasonable price.

  2. Hi @Shri. Welcome to your forum where you can discuss, discover and learn everything you want to know about your car. I would like to recommend Future Tyres, after extensive search and changing several bushes and parts my car still wobbled at high speeds which was very uncomfortable and concerning. I was pointed out to one of the Business Listings on Carnity and came with high recommendation so I decided to head there. When I reached it was so busy that I thought they were going to push me away, but to my surprise someone approached me in less than 2 minutes, checked my issue and in 5 minutes he made a bay available for me.

After lifting the car and inspecting every part one by one he showed me the culprit, 6 bushes which had gone without notice, really worn out and shaking my car like it was going to shift lanes on its own. The quote seemed a bit high, but after checking with a known garage it was very reasonable so I decided to get the job done. I did not regret this as once the car was ready and delivered it felt like of the showroom floor and handling was perfect. The link to the Future Tyres is given below for your quick reference, I highly recommend them also.

  3. Great question @Frederic and although i do not have any idea but the 8 speed would be much better than the CVT gears.

Moreover the 8 speed gear in a Jeep with their off-road capability i am sure the makers would have kept that in consideration and it would perform just as well in the desert.

If you do not get the feedback here, you can always test drive a Jeep in 4H and pump the accelerator to get a feel of the gear shift. I have a friend in Jeep sales at Festival City, I can pass on his name to you on one of the drives.

  4. The one you are looking at is with the Pentastar V6 or the V8 Hemi?

Hemi V8 are reliable teh 5.7 liter ones, teh even have MDS system which closes 4 cylinders when not in use, The Pentastar V6 is good for the first 100 - 150K kmswithin the warranty, but there seems to be some issue with it as soon as the warranty get's over.
