  3. Best wishes gaurav bhai.. live long
  4. This might be the right reason @Krishna R. I was trying to figure out the reason how it broke when I was under your xterra fixing the leaves. I had noticed the rubber padding 3mm to 4mm thick given with gaps in between under each leaves. The leaves were not resting on each other as seen in the pictures above and i believe this might had stressed the blades to become weak and gave up.

  8. Trip Report Sweihan drive is always filled with excitement and this time we doubled the excitement by venturing to a new area towards Al Ain airport. My liwa quest was complete towards the end of the drive. The stunning dunes one after other, huge bowls, sharp crest, star shaped dunes was really mind blowing. Small silent convoy with just 5cars made this drive possible to complete 70km in 4hours with 3hours moving time. @Pascal was in second lead and did all the correction pricelessly whenever required. @Benjamin you are really amazing I loved the way you approach and attack dunes and ridges, good control young boy keep it up 👌 @Jona you are truly amazing it was really nice to see your FJ climbing high rise and crossing ridges. @Santoso Marjuki was at sweep and thanks for not leaving anyone behind and guiding us whenever we had refusals and for offering me vitamin reload which gave me extra energy to drive back home. See you all again soon.

  10. Unfortunately with a heavy heart, I am forced to CALL OFF this drive due to fewer participants. Full Day Intermediate Desert Drive - Bateen Liwa - Abu Dhabi - 5 Mar 2023 is CANCELLED @Santoso Marjuki @Mus_hus78 @Imran Kashif will keep the weekend thrill alive. The drive level is lowered to Morning Fewbie Plus with a new location to SWEIHAN (Abu Dhabi). All the details in the original drive post are edited accordingly.
  11. @Beide Worku @Santoso Marjuki @Mus_hus78 @Imran Kashif thank you all for signing up. @Mus_hus78 and @Imran Kashif i see you both had joined back to back drive, @Srikumar's drive at sweihan on previous night where the drive will end at mid night and my drive will start early morning at LIWA which is around 3.5 Hrs drive form sweihan to meeting point. Please re-think your decision before joining any of these drives. Terrain like LIWA should be taken seriously and your utmost concentration is required which might fade out quickly if you don't get good sleep prior to drive. Minimum attendees for this drive will be 4. Even one drop out from current attendees will force me to call of this drive. I request everyone to confirm your presence.

  14. @Beide Worku @Salim Akhtar @Karthikeyan Govindarajan @Santoso Marjuki @Ashutosh Garg @Mus_hus78 thank you for joining the drive. To ensure that everyone has a fun and safe Liwa trip it's important that you go through the below checklist : 1. Please ensure that you are there at the meeting point at 7:00 AM sharp. 2. Get lots and lots of rest the previous day. The more the better as Liwa will not only challenge your vehicle but your mind as well. We would need your complete focus and fatigue due to less rest is the last thing that is needed on such a terrain. For those who prefer camping the previous night, you can do so at the starting point as it's a nice spaced-out area. Bring some firewood in case if you wish to have a bonfire to keep you warm. 3. Ensure that your 4x4 is well serviced recently and all the lubes and fluids are topped up. 4. Arrive at meeting point with full fuel tank. Last ADNOC station https://goo.gl/maps/rKe2DFTu4vn55yuR6 5. Spare tire should be in good working condition. Ensure both front and back tow points are in good condition. 6. Bring lots of water (at least 5 ltr per person) breakfast, lunch, snacks, energy bar, cookies, nuts, etc etc for yourself and your passengers. We shall be having breaks in between the drive. 7. Bring garbage bags along to carry your trash. Littering in the desert is strictly prohibited. Convoy position and radio frequency will be announced at meeting point. See you all on sand,
