  2. DRIVE DESCRIPTION With the weather finally starting to cool off (atleast in the early mornings), time to start venturing into the bigger dunes of Sweihan, also known as "Little Liwa" among the offroading community. This is the perfect playground to hone your basic skills of approaching a dune, crossing over and how much gas to give. The nature of the spaced out dunes means the drives will be a tad quicker but a lot more fun. We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities. 4. You’re welcome ! It’s a very nice shop and they have so much stuff. The shoes are not cheap but they are really comfortable and you don’t get any sand inside. They have laces and a zipper on the side so quite easy to get your feet in.
  5. Hi @Marketa Dobesova I got my shoes in a shop called Tactical trading. It’s located on Sheikh Zayed road. https://maps.app.goo.gl/1z7TurUSYFTrrt6Z7?g_st=iw This is the location 😁

  16. I love this picture ! My car look so small in front of these huge dunes !
  17. What an amazing weekend we had in Liwa !! First of all I want to thank my wonderful husband @Frederic to stay home with the kiddos and giving me the opportunity to lead my first Liwa crossing. On the way to Liwa I had some difficulties with my alternator and I really feared that I wouldn't be able to lead but with the help of @Srikumar, @Gaurav Soni and 2 wonderful mecanics in Liwa town who were able to temporarily fix it, I made it to the meeting point ! My whole fewbie convoy did really great and we were able to make it to waypoint 18 on time and without too much struggles. Also the second day went quite smoothly with only a few refusals, one winch recovery and a pop out fix. I want to thank everyone who joined and also congratulate you for successfully completing the Liwa crossing ! See you next time
  18. Most of the people will be camping tonight. This is the suggested camping spot, it’s on top of a dune but just stay next to it on the Sabhka https://maps.app.goo.gl/U7EWL7WavN27QXbE6?g_st=iwb
  19. Below you can find the convoy numbering for our Liwa drive Position Driver Car 1 Vanessa Nissan X-terra 2 Brette Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 Tharun Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 4 Bjoern Jeep Wrangler 5 Varun Jeep Rubicon 6 Pascal Toyota Four runner 7 Richard Jeep Wrangler 8 Mohamad Nissan Patrol Safari 9 Benjamin Jeep Wrangler 10 Srikumar Jeep XJ 11 Stavros Jeep Wrangler 12 Ahmad Toyota FJ Cruiser 13 Morshedi Jeep Wrangler 14 Hisham Toyota FJ Cruiser
  20. I noticed the pin point is right on top of the dune, if you are arriving in the dark, please stay on the sabhka just next to it so you don't get stuck trying to climb in the dark. I am pretty sure everyone is going to camp on the sabhka anyway.
