  1. Hi @Stav there will be a few guys arriving around 5pm tomorrow evening. I will be arriving around 10-10.30 pm. This is the camping spot location that everyone is going to be at. https://maps.app.goo.gl/U7EWL7WavN27QXbE6?g_st=iwb
  2. @Ahmad Shaker @Bjoern @Morshedi @Stav @Pascal @Richard Franks @premindra rajaram @Mohamad Anwer @Benjamin @Tharun Kumar V @Hisham Masaad @Srikumar @Varun Mehndiratta Good Morning everyone I hope you are all as excited as I am for this weekends Liwa Crossing. Please remember to go over the rules and drive preparation again so your vehicle and you are fully prepared for the drive. I would be devastated to sent someone back home on the meeting point .... It is highly recommended to drive alone, as it's a very serious and demanding drive to stay focused at all times. Maximum of one passenger allowed - No exceptions and trip lead will send you back. Make sure that passenger has no fear of heights, motion sickness and have been to full-day off-road drives before. As once we enter the desert, the only way out is from the other side, without any early exits for 100-150 kms. Everything in your car should be strapped and secured - All vehicles will be checked by the trip lead. Drive Preparation: Your car should be in 100% pristine working condition, so double or triple check everything. Full-size spare tire with a lug wrench to match your wheel nut size and its depth. For aftermarket rims - Your lug wrench also needs to match the wheel nut depth. As it's a long full-day drive, so catch up with enough sleep in advance. 5-10 liter of water per person. Snacks for breakfast, lunch, dinner and next day breakfast. Keep your car as light as possible by packing what is truly essential. Fully charged radio with spare battery and all other required off-road gears. Gas tank and required number of jerry cans should be full upon arrival. Last petrol station is ADNOC Khanoor (832): https://goo.gl/maps/FSUzbzURjQRGvFVN9 I would also recommend to everyone to bring 1 bag of wood each for the Saturday night camping, that way the wood is divided over more than one car and we will be definitely have enough wood to make a big camp fire to keep us warm. For people camping on the Friday evening, make sure you are as close as possible to the meeting point and you have refueled your car because you might not have time anymore in the morning. I want everyone to be at the meeting point at 7 am sharp, if you are late, I might leave you behind ! SEE YOU ALL IN LIWA !!!
  3. That’s the total fuel that you have to have so inside the tank and jerrycan together 😁
  4. I am sorry @Tharun Kumar V but even if you complete 2 Fewbie drives in the weekend and the Fewbie weekday drive tomorrow, you still only have 4 drives by then so you are still not eligible to join the Liwa drive.
  5. @Pascal sorry, I made a mistake and already added you to the drive again. I missed the fact that you are fewbie plus. Again, my apologies ... The same for @Richard Franks I added you back to the drive ...
  6. @Tharun Kumar V You haven't completed 5 fewbie drives yet so I will have to remove your name from this drive. @Shahid Mehmood and @Manoj Soman You didn't complete 5 fewbie drives in the last 3 months so I also have to remove your names from this drive.
  7. @Ahmad Nerat You will need at least 5 fewbie drives to be able to join the drive ... The 2nd condition only applied to Fewbie plus level so I removed it.
  8. @Warren Flay so sorry to hear you are leaving. I will miss your enthusiasm and funny comments on our drives together 😂 Good luck in your move and all the best for you and your family !

  10. Let's aim to cross the Liwa Crescent from one side to another. To experience the magic of Rub’ al Khali (Empty Quarter) the largest uninterrupted desert on Earth! The Liwa Crossing through Empty Quarter offers a chance to witness nature in its purest form and in itself is a transcendent experience. However, traveling through the largest desert in the world is not something that should be taken lightly. It will be a 150 - 200 km off-road drive covered within 1.5 days through amazing breathtaking views and the enormous size of dunes on earth. What you will find here: Tallest sand dunes (200 - 300 meters) Steepest incline and drops Longest side sloping Broad ridge riding Faster heartbeat Sweaty hands Mandatory rules for Liwa Crossing (exceptional) drive. Considering its seriousness to keep you and your vehicle safe, these strict rules will be applied to all. For Fewbie level you must have driven at least 5 Fewbie drives with Carnity in the last 3 months. 18. Hi Nathan, welcome to Carnity. I am driving a LWB stock Pajero and I am loving my Big Blue ! You made a good choice with the car, they are very reliable and once you get to really know your car you can do anything with it, even making it to Marshal like I did 😁 Good luck and I hope to see you soon in one of my drives 😉
  19. Love this pic of my Big Blue ! Thanks @Looper !
