  13. It was a wonderful morning and I personally enjoyed every bit of the drive despite of the scorching heat towards the last hour of the drive with temperatures climbing very fast beyond 48 degrees. @Davie Chase you already blew up the curve mate 😂 a natural lead with fantastic lines and balanced level for everyone to enjoy, learn, and grow some muscles too 💪 The whole convoy did very well overall and I liked the teaming spirit.. everyone rolling up their sleeves to support when needed Congratulations @Haneef Thayyil for completing your first Fewbie drive. You had the biggest share of stucks and refusals plus a pop out today so thanks for giving us the chance to practice all techniques 😂😂.. Jokes aside, you did very well and I could notice after each one how more confident you become, better in following instructions, and getting the art of taming the mighty power of your beast to work for you..always remember STEERING is your best friend. @Alphin Aloor very well done overall.. I was jumping from joy watching you self recover at that soft spot.. a role model .. BRAVO. everyone else drove very well and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. @Benjamin great support throughout the drive.. your presence and coolness in every situation assessing, guiding, and executing different recovery techniques is highly commendable.. keep it up my friend. can’t wait to have the pleasure of driving with all of you again!
  14. Don’t worry @Mark B.. join us and I promise you we will handover all shovels to you and setback in the A/C 😂
  15. Good morning @Frederic and all . I am very sorry I missed the alarrm and just woke up now so won’t be able to make it on time .. enjoy the ride and hopefully will see you all soon
  16. Nice project @Stumpy Pajthanks for sharing.. how did you engineer the ventilation of the compressor to ensure it doesn’t overheat specially in summer with excessive use ? Also, I assume you are not relying on the standard 12v outlet to feed the compressor, not sure the standard wiring is good enough for the high amps drawn by the compressor
  17. Very well written @Benjamin.. one word of advise is to secure CID approval prior to starting any color change as in many cases they will request the car to be brought for inspection and if the color is changed already from what is recorded in Mulkia it can complicate things.. bare in mind that the main purpose of the CID preapproval is to ensure the owner is not changing the color to hide something (hit and run or other major offense) so if they are suspicious for any reason and color is already changes it can be a big problem
  18. Congratulations @Theo09.. it’s a start of a new adventure .. enjoy
  19. Thanks Davie for letting me in and sorry for that I had to leave that early.. I was however very happy to reunite with you and follow off-roaders after such long time.. until we meet again soon InshaALLAH
  20. Congratulations @Asif Hussain @GauravSoni @DP1011 @M.Seidam @Looper and @Zed.. well deserved
  21. Hi @Patrick .. really appreciate the feedback and @Carnity is always open to learn and adapt best practices to always keep the drives and experience better every time of everyone in the @Carnity family .. rest assured that # 1 to 100 priorities for all of us are SAFETY & FUN and hitting the right BALANCE is our ultimate North Star . What you see today in the grading structure is a model that matured over several years with 100s of good (and bad) experiences and feedback gathered from all members throughout all drives and then was subjected to thorough analysis debate between marshals and crew to conclude on what fits best to get us to that North Star. For example, sometime back we adopted that Upgrade Drives for some levels, however the experience proved it brings more bad than good accordingly it was dropped. Every decision and specially promotion goes through a rigorous system to ensure skills, safety, comms, attitude, team work, … etc are assessed by different leads and support members (all of whom are volunteers by the way) and we do our best to ensure fairness and no bias. However, like everything in life, it’s impossible to achieve 100% and there is always room for improvement.. more importantly we all appreciate one size will never fit all so as we always say in the briefings we expect everyone to raise their tolerance, & patience and focus more on having fun while enjoying the company, adventure, and nature.
  22. amazing!... thanks a lot @Frederic for this interesting initiative.. and congratulations @Ale Vallecchi @Davie Chase @Benjamin @JeromeFJ @DP1011@Ishak @Bjoern @Tharun Kumar V @Santoso Marjuki for this recognition..hold tight as competition heats up and everyone will be trying hard to knock you off that wall 😆
