  1. Why don't you book an appointment at their Rashidya branch?
  2. @samamaraIf you wait another 6 months you can also get Ford Bronco in to your option's list
  3. I see two advantages of the large wheels: 1) It's nearly a "guaranty" that you won't have pop-outs, at all. There are some very extreme cases (like my only one 🤭), but normally you won't have any. With stock tires Wrangles still better than other cars in terms of pop-outs, but I've seen many pop-outs with Carnity on Sport/Sahara 32s and even Rubicon's 33s I won't touch the pandora box of the ability to climb higher on the dunes, but would just highlight the pop-outs 2) The look
  4. I think its about 500 km on stock wheels and less on large ones (nor sure, but nothing tells me that Jeeps are good in efficiency) Regarding the noice - no issues at all (at all) - on stock, BFG315/70/17 and Coopes XLT305/70/17 tires. Its much better than e.g. lux cabrios like BMW Z4 or so. I assume all bad stories comes from the older, hardly modified jeeps
  5. Speaking for JL/JLU, I would only leave fuel efficiency in the list of Wrangler's drawbacks. And it has 2 big advantages: 1) it is a new car with a modern and stylish (hello toyotas and mitsu) cabin. You enjoy when driving to sand and driving to opera; 2) you can remove the top and enjoy life differently
  6. Fuel level can false alarm when you put the car on the incline (or driving down or up). My jeep scared me few times a lot!
  7. You can see the whole set up on the picture below the video. The solution is not ideal, but the best which you can make without drilling a hole in the car
  8. Hi @varunmehndiratta Similar to Lorenco's feedback - driving 98% in D and switching to M when needed. Never seen/hread about upshifting in JLU
  9. I have the same issue. Service guys told me it's a warranty case, kind of jam inside. Waiting for the panel already 2 months. In the meantime, they just disabled the whole panel, you can use your screen for everything apart from switching off the traction control (which can be done by removing the fuse)
  10. You can't mathematically prove the necessity of lift. You have 2 options - continue to think each day about the lift or to make a lift. I don't know any jeep owner who regrets lifting their cars. The roads in the UAE are wide and straight - so there is no real difference you have a Porsche or Jeep
  11. You should just wait for them at the nearest road if you manage to drive or somehow deliver your car there. Making enough pictures of the incident is a good idea. But if it's a real disaster, with other cars or injured - not sure, better to call the police and consult
  12. I did, yes. Always, ofcourse, switching car off. Works well, not a sinlge error or so
  13. Didn't manage to get the answer. The most experienced guys are whether affiliated with the workshops installing tube doors, or addicted to all possible new features, so having no "part" (if they can buy one) is not an option for them If you pass through an RTA office you can check - please update here
  14. Looks like all the same I am only touching this fuse as I am waiting for the new control panel (to be replaced under warranty - buttons get stuck) and in the meanwhile agency just disconnected the whole panel inside the car. So fuse is the only option for me to drive on sand now
  15. Here is the picture which saves 1500 aed (it is Sahara, looks like on Rubicon it might look different, but still the fuse is #50) BTW I can't say that car's performance noticeably increased in sand comparing with disabling traction control by the standard button
  16. I was shown today how easy is to remove the fuse, disabling ABS/ESP. After this, I don't really understand why the killer switch is even discussed (the official costs ~1500 AED). I am waiting to see (or not to see) the difference comparing with disabling it from the cabin by pushing ESP off button
