Well done @Guddi for the first drive - you were calm, controlled, and attentive - whilst maintaining a good distance from other cars (giving yourself time and options incase something happens in front of you). Upwards from here!

Another good drive with familiar faces.... and in terms of the drive focus we had lots of digging and minimal rope usage 👍Lots of teamwork and working through the challenges together for a good result.

@Simon Dawood I also have a Pajero LWB 2011. 

I changed to Yoko AT GO15's (from HT's) last year, and am extremely happy with them - 265/60 R18's. Should have done it sooner. Great even onroad, with a minimum of road noise, and only then, after 110km p/hr. Manufactured in Thailand, Japanese ones not available anymore in the market from what I understood. 

I don't have any lift on my Pajero, so some type of limit there.  Will defer to @Frederic 's advice and comments. Some in the group have asked me if I've had any issues with the 18inches - none so far. After 34 drives, only one pop-out. I don't ever go lower than 12PSI though. 

As @Frederic has mentioned, supply was an issue (with the 18inch) Yokos when I bought them, although did manage to find them at the Yokohama showroom/agency (others had one or two; I was looking for five including the spare) in Al Khabaisi, behind the car showrooms (close to DXB airport). They had literally been manufactured 2 months before my purchase.

@Hisham Masaad looking forward to the drive on Friday! Just confirming the timing - seems the drive is 3 hours (as opposed to the regular 4 hours), starting 7am until 10am. The reason I ask is that I have work after the drive - 10am finishing is good for me, but 11am would be pushing it. 

So, just confirming the times mentioned are correct, and we are aiming for a 10am finish?

@Ale Vallecchi enjoyed the fast paced, riveting drive yesterday afternoon. I have been wondering recently, how the IM level looks in terms of speed, car requirements etc, and wondering if I'm/my car (Pajero without any lift) would be up to it. You gave me a good introduction yesterday 👍. A lot of silence over the radio (meaning we were all focussed and few issues experienced) meaning I checked every so often to ensure that my radio was still working 😂 Excellent weather, familiar faces and a smooth flowing drive in beautiful terrain. Sometimes you gotta love Dubai!

Thanks for this @Frederic, from a fellow Pajero owner. I had issues with my system last year, but after trial and error, and changing the "family" of solenoids, all is like new again, and find the system quite reliable. A nice summary how it actually works. Am actually a big fan of the Pajero system including tiptronic, as opposed to using only the automatic option.  Keep this quiet though - don't tell @Wrangeld, as I can hear him say "Always drive in D, the car knows better than you" 🤣😂

An eventful drive yesterday with @Islam Soliman yesterday. As we agreed, the theme of the day was everything to do with "tyres."

Whether @Sunil Mathew's puncture at the start, my "almost pop-out" or @JamesThorn's two rear-tyre deflations towards the exit, we had our fair share to deal with. Let's not forget a couple of stucks, including @Naveen Raj's epic one providing great camera opportunities! As usual, handled well by all involved as a team - thanks to @Islam Soliman, @marks and @Sunil Mathew for the guidance and assistance. 

By the way, fixed my tyre on the way home at the same garage. No damage evident after taking everything apart, just gave the rim and tyre a good clean. I hope that's the end of it.

@M.Seidam unfortunately won't be able to join tomorrow - I took my name off the guest list early in the afternoon today, before the convoy order came through - and then saw my name. Have had some great drives with you and hope to continue this... just not tomorrow!
