  1. Hello all! Thanks to everyone for making this morning super fun! @GauravI'll upload my favourites to the directory For anyone that wants to sift through my shots from today, there is about 60 to download below (click the link) Download Link: https://we.tl/t-hZ2QsMYWib (They are very friendly JPEGs for Mobile and Web use, all 60 equate to about 55mb) Look forward to seeing the rest of everyones photos, super jealous of you guys with the long lenses from what I can already see they look wicked!!
  2. Hey @Gaurav Ill be shooting on my Fujifilm XT-4 with a 24-80mm and I'll bring my little point and shoot Fujifilm XF10 which is a fixed 28mm to capture those from the hip moments on our adventure 🤘🏼 Look forward to Friday!
  3. Hey @Luca Palanca Falsini, please add me to the waiting lists! As I'm keen to join if anyone drops out 🤘🏼
  4. Thank you all! See you back out on sizzling sand soon enough 👊🏼💯
  5. I was planning on applying for my Fewbie Plus promotion this working week and RSVP'd in the hope that I would be all clear by this Friday.
  6. @Luca Palanca Falsini thanks for the diverse upbeat drive, nothing like Faya on a Friday sunrise to get your blood going for the weekend! Everybody did awesome and we maintained solid momentum throughout. @TT_Dubai haha thank you for the compliment, me and the jimny certainly try our hardest to keep up with the V8 big dogs! @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil definitely send me some footage if you can!
  7. Hey @Janarthan really sorry for the late communication, I have incredibly late work commitments for tonight and will be unable to make it tomorrow 😕 Hope everyone has a good one and I’ll see you next week!
  8. Cheers @Luca Palanca Falsini and @Panchoand the rest of the lads for a solid drive! It was super fun and more importantly insightful for me and the Jimny on the large dunes of Faya! Definitely can take away some valid information and experience to better my skills for next time, plenty of room for improvement. See you back out there on red stuff soon enough!
  9. @RaYan E, as @Chaitanya D mentioned us Jimny drivers are absolutely rivalled by horsepower but that (from first hand experience) can be overshadowed by driving skill and experience and ultimately knowing the science of how your Jimny reacts to driving on sand! A few points in regards to this being that these Japanese short wheel based little toys have one of the biggest advantages and that is the WEIGHT which technically makes a resounding difference when talking about power and movement as although it doesn’t give us much juice as some bigger cars with 4 litre or v6/8 configurations it means that it takes a lot less to move it. In parallel to that weight I personally drive on 10psi on the OEM wheels and tyres without so far having any problems, which allow we to create a decent footprint for putting what power I have down on top of the sand without sinking or bogging. You can really notice the presence of the Jimny when your driving on sand as it loves to float on top and really does not sink at all! With the experience and skill side, it’s all bout momentum and throttle control with the Jimny, maintaining that speed and most importantly the sections before a climb or a sidey etc, that is what will carry you through with ease and less strain on the little motor! Knowing the throttle will help with that and when the range where you have Max torque and bite! I’m about 12 drives in now with a few fewbies under my belt and I’m loving every step in the Jimny, learning an abundance about myself and vehicle each week! Hope this helped a little bit if you want to know anything more or some specifics, feel free to continue this discussion on here. And if you do get stuck all you have to do is get you and your friend to pick up the car with one finger and she’ll be out Nathan
  10. @Janarthan & @Brette, smashing drive as always, was awesome to see you take the reigns and lead the drive, being my first Fewbie level drive I was in awe of the variety of terrain we covered and can’t wait to get back on top of this ridges for some more experience in the little Jimny!
  11. Thanks lads for the praise! 🙌🏼 Certainly take pride in my Friday mornings with Carnity, can’t wait to keep learning and pushing forwards (upwards, sidewards and downwards) with the lil Jimny
