  1. Naim @Naim Aounfeel free to WhatsApp to me 0586751825 would love to see you are correct. @Ale Vallecchi yesterday was a fabulous drive enjoying a lot of what is great about the desert areas we.have here. A small convey who were all enjoying the drive with little or no incidents. Thank you very much.
  2. Hi @Ale Vallecchi apologies for late response but have had unplanned trip home and having returned this morning had to check work shifts. Looking forward to the drive.
  3. @Chaitanya D Was a great team, all concentrating all working hard and all enjoying ourselves. Chaitanya I have to commend your skills in leading and navigation putting us in a very admirable 2nd place whilst not losing sight of team safety. @Hisham Masaadthe role as 2nd navigator was invaluable keeping the Boss on target when his focus was diverted to finding a route. Great teamwork and understanding from you both there, well done. The rest of us @Warren Flay @Anoop Nair and myself just did all we could to keep moving avoid errors and enable the job to be done. Thanks to all and I guess my sporting side should congratulate @Wrangeld and the foxes for winning despite trying to intimidate us at a waypoint clash 🤣! Well done Carnity for organising was great to see so many club drivers at one time which Covid has prevented until now. Stay safe and keep your motor roof side up.
  4. But everyone knows that ...... 42 is the answer
  5. @Chaitanya D thanks for organising the drive which worked we for me with the shifts I'm now on. Was also starting to enjoy @Hisham Masaadtaking the taking the partial lead which I'm sure went very well. Sadly I had to leave after my tie rod decided to part company with my axle though happily it didn't delay the drive as we were all near the road. Hope you all had a great drive.
  6. @sertacand @Shaaz Sha was a great drive today thanks. Plenty of variation to keep us on our toes and practice the skills. Cheers
  7. @Ale Vallecchi I really align with what @JeromeFJ has said. I believe there is a place for each kind of drive. In terms of 'easy' I genuinely belive that when concentration is maintained and the convoy remains focused the errors are less. I quite like the idea that the drive is not only a drive but has a challenge to complete a route. I believe it is the case on previous drives Ale that we have not reached the target exit for whatever reason, which highlights they are not all 'easily achievable '. I look forward to the day we have an all day challenge to test concentration!!
  8. Congratulations @Lorenzo Candelpergher well earned promotion. The tow out of my manual JK with a completely burnt out clutch is an experience I shall never forget and an indication of your commitment to look after the drivers in your convoy. See you in the sand Marshal
  9. @Ale Vallecchi it was a great drive thanks got your efforts and writingwriting great review.
  10. @Ale Vallecchi great drive today, 100km despite a rear coil spring replacement, and a pop out shows some good driving by all with @Gaurav Soni Centre forward and @Rob HSweep doing good work on the repairs.
  11. Thanks Ranjan All that shared learning following each other for the last few months!! I've benefitted from the very high standards of leadership demonstrated on the numerous drives by the Carnity Marshalls and leads of which I continue to be grateful for and will never stop learning.
  12. @Ale Vallecchi great drive today, new area and new experience. @Lakshmi Narasimhan @Gaurav Soni and @Mario Cornejo good support, thanks all.
  13. Thanks @darren thompson turns out I sheared brake pipe and bent the nearside suspension mounts on the front axle!! Was fairly strange occurrence but big impact so we'll see huh !!!
  14. @Wrangeld and all thanks for a great drive yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed it and experienced the whole 75 km, a lot of lol and grimacing throughout.
  15. Great drive today @Islam Soliman with good work from @Chinthaka Ruwan @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil and @Hisham Masaad Special thanks to Islam who insisted on waiting with me until recovery truck arrived and also driving me to the garage. It was unnecessary but well received. With my brake pipe sheared off sadly there was no choice but to exit. Thanks all
  16. @Ale Vallecchi thanks for this mornings drive, was a perfect start to the weekend and challenged me throughout. @Ranjan Das at 2nd lead, @Kalahari with a smooth job at CW and @Russ bringing up the rear with @Shehab Alawadhi in club Ford. At least I had less sand in the car today as whenever I am close to these 2 i have to keep the windows open to the V8s burble.
