  1. Dear @Mahesh_, @Rafey Hashmi , @Gautam Banka, @essam ibrahim, @Julien Recan, @Abhilash Kottakkal, @Mike M., @Marek_was003,  @Benjamin.

Thank you for joining the Drive yesterday and i hope you have enjoyed it as much as i did. we have achieved our target of exiting from the big red side passing through pink rock ..

we had a couple of refusals and stucks , but nothing serious that required us to get out the ropes or the shovels .💪

in between @Rafey Hashmi Jimny had a pop out , which i have to say was one of the easiest  and fastest pop up fixes we ever had to deal with .

I have to say  everyone drove really well, 💪🎉

thanks @Benjamin for the great support and @Mike M. for sweeping the convoy .

and of course special  thanks to @Frederic for making this drive possible

Looking forward to see you soon on the next drive

since i got the onboard air now i was considering the air jack.
anyone got any experience in how quickly these actually lift?

im imagining it might be just as easy/fast to push the floor jack under and give it a few pumps by hand.

personally, i have eventually ended up with the air jack and it have been put to the test  a couple of times its very fast in lifting the car compared to the others  stable ( i still prefer to use the wooden board)  but keep in mind its also quite heavy

  4. If you have the pedal commander then most probably  it is the one causing  the problem , try to trace the cable from behind the pedal up to the connector socket ( in case of the pajero it should be to the right of the pedal) try to wiggle and tighten that socket ( while the car is off) then you can reset  the error code. This is the quick fix.

The main problem happens because of the connection pins of the pedal commander are loosing contact due to sand or the socket can get loose with time . What i did in my case I have cleaned those connectors and added some solider to increase the thickness to minimize the contact loss possibility, tightly fix the connector in the socket used some gorilla tape to make sure it is tightly connected and  insulated from sand

But for the actual fix you will if you don't really use it , you could completely remove the pedal ..

  5. Thank you  @Mahmut @Robk @Ben Lee @Feras_Sh @Ranjan Das

for Joining the drive yesterday . Shortly after the briefing and the warm up we slowly practiced the proper criss crossing , ridge ridding  and side slopping  techniques afterwards we moved into some larger and softer  dunes afterwards moving forward towards the the pink Rock  .

We had an unfortunate incidence that a paraglider slammed into the top of the pink rock as we were very close to him we had to move in and assist him thank fully he seemed lucky not to have a major injury . I am sorry for the time i had to keep you waiting till we go him down the dune.

Also, special thanks to @Robk for volunteering to put the pilot and the machine in his car .

also thanks to @Ranjan Dasfor supporting and sweeping the convoy.

finally a warmly thank you to @JeromeFJ for making this drive possible

I hope you all enjoyed the drive and looking forward to see you on the next one soon

  8.   Dear   @Mahesh_,  @Nadeem Ansari, @Shiju Raju, @Marek_was003, @Haneef Thayyil, @Thejas Uthran,  @Sunil Mathew

Yesterday's drive was my number 100 Drive with @Carnity and it was a pleasure to have all in this drive . everyone drove really well especially on those couple of long ridges .

We had a couple of refusals and one stuck which @Sunil Mathew did a great job in the recovery and supported very well in most of the refusals .

After around one and a half hour of driving we stopped for a break to enjoy the weather the a couple of laughs as well.

in the 2nd half of the drive the spare tire of @Nadeem Ansari broke loose and we had strap it down in the back of the trunk . Also, there seemed to be an issue with Nadeem's car power which i decided to change the route and exit through the pilon tracks

We managed to drive around 50 Kilometer , well done again and looking forward to see you on the next drive ..

special thanks to @Looper for making this drive possible .

Also , please share the pictures in the Drive Galary  https://carnity.com/gallery/category/1914-fewbie-tawi-nazwa-sharjah-23-december-2023/

@Looper @Gaurav so sorry to miss out on two drives today which I was really looking forward for today after a long gap of 5 weeks.... but my son had a high fever in the night and kind of had sleepless night.. first I skipped loopers drive hoping I can take him to doctor in the morning.. but unfortunately our regular doctors were on vacation and the earliest appointment I could get was for the afternoon doctor at 1:15 pm which made me cancel the gauravs drive also.. all is fine now with my son.. but I just want you to understand that it was not a stupid excuse to skip the drive....what makes me feel so bad is I requested gaurav to add me to support and I couldn't..so sorry..

Hi @Abhilash Kottakkal i am glad your son is fine. will see on the next drive .

  12. Thank you  @Maytham Mahroos, @Shiju Raju , @Issam Atra ,  @frederic demolder , @PETELCZYC PAJERO - luke @Mark B @Tareq Al Turq for being part of the drive and being excellent drivers , you managed all sort of terrain ,pace, and challenges that you have been put through. 💪

I tried to expose the convoy to all kind of terrain and drives techniques from flat straight terrain, technical terrain, crisscrossing , ridge ridding and side slopping  which will give you more confidence going up the off-roading levels.

My initial plan was to exit at solar park but at 10:00 AM , after we have done a some sidies and some exhausting  long range dunes ridge riding. I decided to exit at Marqab.

Thanks @Mark B for making sure the convoy way safe at the back and @Tareq Al Turq for helping us with the shoveling and helping the guys with the refusals.

Special thank to @Davie Chase for watching my back and making this drive possible :D

i was not able to click any pictures during this drive but if you did kindly post them in the drive gallery 📸

Looking forward to see you on the next drive.
