Thanks @Luke K P for taking the time. As you said, price point to power and features it seems to be the vehicle that has the answers to most, if not all needs. I will go check it out soon in the agency but I think the raptor is 265 k aed right ? For me , I have been eyeing the new Tacoma as I think the 2024 has next-level features while having the wrangler 392 in my wishlist for the raw power and torque. Then I see the Ranger Raptor by accident (didn’t know about its features and capabilities) which for me is both cars in my list, combined! (Minus the impact dampening seats from the Tacoma and a few bhp and torque from the 392 ) but seems to be more refined for a daily driver, at a much lower price point, with the ability to customize the bed to personal preferences and taste. Check out “Ute master” lid load in case you didn’t buy a bed rack or tonneau cover yet. They’re offering something really unique and practical, compared to anything in the global market, but I’m not sure if they ship to the UAE. Thanks again!

No not yet…. Exploring for now …..I feel like having a new project after building the White Rhino… thinking a pick up truck has more options to build as well. Let’s see whether logic wins or urges win since the car is still under warranty and it is one of the most premium and most pampered Pajeros out there

Hi guys, Does anyone in the club own this or has experience with it ? Been going through some review videos and at first glance it seems to be the “Silver Bullet” vehicle, having everything and anything you would want in a combo daily driver/offroader with 0 need for customizations and the refinement of a sophisticated on-road vehicle. Any owners or experts out there that can share their 2 cents on this please?

Hi @Gaurav, do we have a chart of the nationalities vs upkeep ? Curious to see how they’re classified ? Luckily, I can pin myself on almost any continent

Thanks for the respectful answer. All the best in your journey.

@Pavel Pashkovskiy there is a certain uniqueness to @Carnity which is very far from chest pumping and crazy dune bashing. Most members are family people who would like to have a drive in the weekend to break the routine. No crazy daring stuff, no ego tests and definitely no compromise or jeopardy when it comes to safety. Based on what I am reading, and mind you I am not part of the crew nor support nor experts and most probably it is not my place to ask this, but are you sure you are in the right club? Most, if not all members, are not here for pissing contests. This is not Carnity’s profile. This is an inclusive club, based on a family concept with a golden rule of safety first.

“Il n’y a pas de raccourci pour aller là où ça vaut la peine d’aller.” The time you take to teach others the subtle nuances that make all the difference in really learning is what makes you a true mentor, in attitude and practice. Well deserved @JeromeFJ! -
I can’t take the credit for it. It was inspired by @Frederic. You should join his drives as much as you can. He makes a mix of everything. He will help you find your sweet spot

@Mohit Gurnani maybe it is best to go back to basics to answer your question. What is your main purpose of off-roading: 1- Dune bashing ? 2- Over-landing ? 3- Adventure truck ? 4- Do you need space to haul in the family into adventures ? with their gear? To @Gaurav’s point: Is it an ultimate goal for you to reach the fastest or getting to the tallest point? While I’m aware that none of the above points are answers to your question but sometimes going back to basics might help you find the answer. All in all, you already have the car and it is one of the top off-roading cars. Maybe, @Frederic’s point about balancing your drive levels could be a compromise to keep the “car abuse” concern you have in check. The point you bring probably goes through the mind of many off-roaders, if not all. Maybe there is no straight forward answer as there are also other elements in play, at a more personal level, such as your appetite to write-off the invested amount in a new car based on financial aspects and comfort levels, among other points. One point I have seen and heard from multiple off-roaders is that many started off with an objective for exploration, overlanding or having an adventure truck then slowly found themselves stuck in the loop of dune bashing. This is why I’m suggesting going back to basics as you might find some answers there which might help you in your decision process. Hope this helps, even slightly.

Hi Carnity family, I know this is not a market place but i have a couple of ARB items I am letting go of and I wanted to share here within Carnity before I post them publicly as these are GRAB items with a very good deal and I am hoping that someone within the Carnity Community would benefit from rather than a complete stranger: - Brand New Never Used ARB Tred PRO (Mounted on roof top a few times but never used) with Adjustable mounting brackets - ARB Single Portable Compressor - 1 of 2 I had (Used less than 10 times) - WARRANTY until March 1, 2024. Letting go of both for AED 2000. Happy to provide my what's app details to anyone interested. I'll wait a day or two before posting publicly. Thanks !
