  1. Hi @DP1011 have to take you up on one of your options as it is a religious day for us tomorrow and was too busy to realize you should add those to the options…. Apologies for this, and see you next time !
  2. Hi @Gaurav, do we have a chart of the nationalities vs upkeep ? Curious to see how they’re classified ? Luckily, I can pin myself on almost any continent
  3. Thanks for the respectful answer. All the best in your journey.
  4. @Pavel Pashkovskiy there is a certain uniqueness to @Carnity which is very far from chest pumping and crazy dune bashing. Most members are family people who would like to have a drive in the weekend to break the routine. No crazy daring stuff, no ego tests and definitely no compromise or jeopardy when it comes to safety. Based on what I am reading, and mind you I am not part of the crew nor support nor experts and most probably it is not my place to ask this, but are you sure you are in the right club? Most, if not all members, are not here for pissing contests. This is not Carnity’s profile. This is an inclusive club, based on a family concept with a golden rule of safety first.
  5. “Il n’y a pas de raccourci pour aller là où ça vaut la peine d’aller.” The time you take to teach others the subtle nuances that make all the difference in really learning is what makes you a true mentor, in attitude and practice. Well deserved @JeromeFJ!
  6. Great shots @Marek_was003! Definitely reusing The White Rhino’s pics. Thanks!
  7. I can’t take the credit for it. It was inspired by @Frederic. You should join his drives as much as you can. He makes a mix of everything. He will help you find your sweet spot
  8. @Mohit Gurnani maybe it is best to go back to basics to answer your question. What is your main purpose of off-roading: 1- Dune bashing ? 2- Over-landing ? 3- Adventure truck ? 4- Do you need space to haul in the family into adventures ? with their gear? To @Gaurav’s point: Is it an ultimate goal for you to reach the fastest or getting to the tallest point? While I’m aware that none of the above points are answers to your question but sometimes going back to basics might help you find the answer. All in all, you already have the car and it is one of the top off-roading cars. Maybe, @Frederic’s point about balancing your drive levels could be a compromise to keep the “car abuse” concern you have in check. The point you bring probably goes through the mind of many off-roaders, if not all. Maybe there is no straight forward answer as there are also other elements in play, at a more personal level, such as your appetite to write-off the invested amount in a new car based on financial aspects and comfort levels, among other points. One point I have seen and heard from multiple off-roaders is that many started off with an objective for exploration, overlanding or having an adventure truck then slowly found themselves stuck in the loop of dune bashing. This is why I’m suggesting going back to basics as you might find some answers there which might help you in your decision process. Hope this helps, even slightly.
  9. @Frederic The White Rhino will wear a red hat as well, just for this special occasion. See you Saturday
  10. Hi Carnity family, I know this is not a market place but i have a couple of ARB items I am letting go of and I wanted to share here within Carnity before I post them publicly as these are GRAB items with a very good deal and I am hoping that someone within the Carnity Community would benefit from rather than a complete stranger: - Brand New Never Used ARB Tred PRO (Mounted on roof top a few times but never used) with Adjustable mounting brackets - ARB Single Portable Compressor - 1 of 2 I had (Used less than 10 times) - WARRANTY until March 1, 2024. Letting go of both for AED 2000. Happy to provide my what's app details to anyone interested. I'll wait a day or two before posting publicly. Thanks !
  11. Hi @JeromeFJ, not feeling well and have to sit this one out unfortunately. That’s the room for the +1 waiting list. Enjoy @Rk ram
  12. Hi @JeromeFJ, I’m removing myself from the waiting list. Making room for others. Enjoy and see you on the next one
  13. Hey @Islam Soliman! Hope all is at ur end. I haven’t driven since March and wanted to see if I still know how to deflate the tyres let alone drive on sand, as a start 😂. Looking forward to seeing you again after such a long time!
  14. Great Stuff @Frederic!!! I think this will take my drives to a completely another level! Many many thanks
