Noise when in steering full lock
iroc replied to mibal's topic in Audi A6 / S6 / RS 6 Avant Forum in UAE
It could be due to various causes, from something like a loose fender inner shield which maybe rubbing against your tyre or even worn out steering joints -
It could be an issue with the contacts in the tail lamp holder.

The minimum order time for parts which are not in stock is usually 15 days from the dealership

what is the difference between cylinder and master cylinder
iroc replied to Mreddie's topic in Audi A5 / RS 5 Forum in UAE
If it is the brakes you are referring to then master cylinder is the main brake unit which is connected to your brake pedal. Calipers or wheel cylinders come on each wheel and are slave units. Same applies for manual transmission vehicles with clutch master and slave cylinders. -
What could be the cause of the car seat working slowly?
iroc replied to yaam's topic in Audi Q7 Forum in UAE
Was the seat moved with the car still running? If so then maybe the seat rails or motor needs checking -
How long dose it take Removing Codes of 2007 Prosche 911?
iroc replied to purabh's topic in Porsche 911 Forum in UAE
What sort of codes or warning lights are there on your 911? Clearing a fault code does not usually take more than an hour unless there is a hard fault registered in the ECU. If so "what is causing the code" will need to be fixed first. Since it is at the dealership they should be able to update you in a day or two about the car's status. So the best is to call and speak to your service advisor. -

Why am i unable to fill up the petrol tank in Audi A4?
iroc replied to samir's topic in Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 Avant Forum in UAE
What year model is your A4? There is a fuel vapour vent system in the form of a charcoal canister which collects the fuel vapour. There might be a block in the system. Hence when you try to fill fuel, the air in the tank gets purged back to the filling neck causing the fuel filling spout to shut. So the gas station attendant would need to fill it manually. -
When is the timing belt changed in my 2002 A3?
iroc replied to majeeth's topic in Audi A3 Forum in UAE
If the water pump was changed under warranty your timing belt would have been replaced. If not it was due at 90K. Is your car a 1.8T? -
Check the fan clutch and the electric cooling fans. Else check the radiator for any block.

Why is the AC air blowing from one vent only in my 1997 911?
iroc replied to sherzaad's topic in Porsche 911 Forum in UAE
Your 911 would be running low on A/C gas. It is also possible that there might be a leak in the system. Visit www.capitalautorepairing.com -
Why is my Audi Q7 2007 making a high pitch sound
iroc replied to owlsen's topic in Audi Q7 Forum in UAE
Your Audi would be making the high pitch noise most likely due to a faulty PCV valve or a vacuum leak. If it is out of warranty I would be able to check it out. -
how many break sensors are there in BMW 750????
iroc replied to shiju's topic in BMW 7 Series Forum in UAE
There would be two in total, one for front and one for the back -
Brake Pads and Discs - Everything about it
iroc replied to ferra786's topic in Land Rover LR4 Forum in UAE
On an average you would be looking at having them changed every 30k. Again it depends on the kind of terrain and driving style. People living in communities with lot of speed humps might see them off even at 20k. -
Most likely the bowden cable which is held by the catch on the inner handle has fallen off its slot. You will get a true picture only once the door pad is opened.

audi CV joint has sparated and need help
iroc replied to kaifrish's topic in Audi General Discussion Forum in UAE
If you are already having a noise then the CV joint has run dry and is damaged. Most likely you would be having vibration under acceleration. So you are better off changing the drive shaft rather than fixing the boot. -
what brand of tier os best suited for my cayman???
iroc replied to ottang's topic in Porsche Cayman Forum in UAE
Michelin PS3 is great with good grip with low tyre noise. Else you can go for Pirelli -
It should be located towards the rear of your glove box.

This is a very common issue due to a faulty brake light switch. Capital Auto (recommended by vwaudiclubuae) in Al Quoz can check out the fault for you.

my rang rover is having loss of power and missfiring
iroc replied to haimant's topic in Land Rover LR4 Forum in UAE
Is it a p38 or a later model range rover? When was the last time spark plugs were changed? If there are misfire fault codes on specific cylinders then try swapping ignition coils / plug wires to see if the misfire shifts. -
Check out fuse#28 in your fuse carrier. You'll find that in the glove box, pull out the cover below the cd changer

Hi Victor. I'm from Dubai and got a Disco Series 2, err...my dad's got one. Been a fan of land rovers. What about you victor

There is no dipstick on the LR4 or for that matter on any new age cars to check your transmission level. No transmission fluid is filled for life. Lifetime generally refers to the life of the vehicle warranty. It is just that you have extended changing intervals. To keep the tranny in good condition, considering the extreme weather, it would be ideal to have it renewed every 100k.
-
Loss of power may be related to engine misfire. Check when was the last time you've had a proper tune done on it.
