You can check the coolant hose (thick black ones) by pressing them with hand gently, if its extremely hard and pressurized then for sure engine cooling system is missing some part (coolant, fan, radiator etc). If hose gets pressed gently squeezed then it means engine cooling system is fine, check the gauge showing different reading or change the heat sending sensor in engine bay that must be sending wrong reading to gauge.

Dont even try to fix it, as it will overheat the engine and then blow the engine apart resulting in warping head or damaging pistons. Either of these two issue engine need to be open fully and overhauled. Changing gasket is not tedious and expensive then whole engine rebuild. Better wait to drive until head gasket is fixed.

75k km is extremely long time for brake to be changed, it should be changed every 30k - 40k IMHO. However I kind of agree that Ford Edge build quality is not like true American cars. Have you been maintaining with dealer or outside?

Dude, i would suggest you not to do online shopping for tires. Sometimes the warranty is invalid and sometimes the auto parts are not certified, so don't trust such sites. Its always better to shop the auto parts from a workshop which is certified and popular in common people.
