  1. The Technology in the car is impressive. It equipped with a cellular data plan to pipe information to its occupants, an optional navigation system, 3D Google maps. The 9 speaker stereo system has excellent sound quality. These features just take my breath away which is why I need someone to give me this ride on my birthday!! (nothing better )
  2. I use this site generally but im sorry i dont think they have audi manuals http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/ hehe funny name Dont forget to download the adobe reader .. thats the form they come in digitally.
  3. They work like any other joints, holding two components together. they need to be greased yes and if they are not they have the tendency to ... well sort of break. They are very important as far as the car's suspension is concerned so yes might be of concern for you if ur friend pointed it out well. Possibility of axle failure are low initially but not impossible. have u got a mechanic check out the clicking noise and the CV joints?
  4. oh thanks then i will check them out... I am very eager to play around a little with my new audi.
  5. i will have to check these specifications online .. are you sure that either one of you have tried these things? does it really improve engine power and performance?
  6. Hi guys I recently bought a TT and love the car to death. It is powerful and all worth the money. I was reading a couple of articles on how easy it is to add more power to the TT's engine and make it more fuel efficient as well as increase the acceleration. I am not trying to be difficult but i really want to know tried and tested methods on how i could experiment with my car just to fall more in love with it. Anyone care to share?
  7. If you want to cross-check the model year from the VIN number then below is how you can do it... otherwise the specs sheet is pretty much all you need, since the build date is mentioned on it. the VIN number just confirms the model year. the tenth character of the VIN gives you the model year. 1997 is V 1998 is W 1999 is X 2000 is Y 2001 is 1 2002 is 2 etc Hope this helps. By the way wouldn't you knw these details at the time of purchase?
  8. Do you have these both at hand? The VIN and specs sheet? I don't really knw which A5 you have so it would either be in the dashboard or if there is a display on the driver's side .. you can find it here. the specs sheet is usually stuck to a door jam.
  9. Buy automatic transmission fluid for your car. there are both kinds available in the market. You probably know this already i just wanted to join in.
  10. There are all kinds of performance chips available in the market. Some are legit and really do improve the efficiency of the car while others just try to find a shortcut into tricking your car into something. The perfect example is where a chip fools your car's computer into believing that the air intake is cooler than it really is ... leading it to believe that its working on a richer fuel mixture ... and the end result is that the injection program is .... screwed. The legit ones never override you car's engine control unit. They have multiple sensor overriding systems. They usually help you if you are getting yourself into heavy modifications like adding a turbocharger .. etc
  11. Hey there man. Tell me something. Is an 83 carbureted? If it's fuel injected then what type of injection? Bosch CIS mechanical? Or electronic multi-port?
  12. Hello everyone ... i recently got my hands on A4 13 and was working with its 2013 MMI ... I noticed that after the bluetooth sync i wasn't able to see my contacts display pictures even though the MMI displays image boxes next to the names. Searched online but haven't been able to find a decent explanation. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanksss
  13. hello all audi - lovers Just for fun I wanted to ask all ya'all audi owners what you use to wash your car!? i am a bigg fann of my S5 and take the time out to wash it myself ........ so spill the beans
  14. Hi guys, I have noticed that my electric steering column in my allroad is producing smoke so I think I need to have it changed but can't seem to find any details about it. The dealership says that this motor cannot be changed at all ... but i find that hard to believe since its damaged and its not like I can just throw away my car like a broken toy. Can anyone tell me how I can find this motor and how can I have it changed. I am willing to change it myself if I have to. Thanks in advance
  15. i dont think they are a bad idea at all ... all they do is provide security to your bumpers and you would want that especially if your car is brand new ... personally i think they look great especially on an Crossover SUV ... just make sure you get aluminium ones. They look and care better for your vehicle.
