the lock must be checked as you said that the auto lock is working so it must be just the lock manually that requires checking.

around 2 days back the seat of the car was reacting very slowly as in if i want to go forward and i press the button to go front the seat will move very slow in forward motion. Dose this mean that the seat is going bad or the battery is not working?
