  1. Mitsubishi cars are very good in the UAE and very well priced to attract lot of interest because: They dont offer wow shining customer service, nice posh office in expensive locations, no free tea and coffee to visitors, not even newspapers, no follow up and no responsible admin staff, No advertisement or crazy marketing. However, don't get me wrong their car and their technicians are good and by just minus above 5 key points they offer so cheap cars and give Toyota and Nissan run for their money. Their parts are crazy expensive, so that's the only little downside. Their resale is almost at par with Toyota, Nissan and Honda. You will get lot of outside workshop happily servicing your Mitsubishi in Dubai and even all over UAE. Their reliability as per heat index is also very good, their few cars are borderline hot in extreme summer but they do survive with little heavy breathing.
  2. It's an interesting point made here, and I believe this could be another golden business idea to offer DIY work space. Although I don't know anything in car mechanics, but I would love to learn and try my hand if given an opportunity.
  3. Interesting point made by dheeresh, so bottom line is drive away from the possible offender cars or else you might get wrong fines too. That's why people started driving in slowest lane at high speed. lol.
  4. I have seen in so many countries that drivers are driving with the permanently installed dash-cam in their car to protect their innocence on that one ugly day. I have been thinking of same to use it here and was discussing which one to buy and then one of the colleague pointed that it's not allowed in the UAE. Wanna ask you guys if it's really allowed here or not as I don't find anything objectionable to record on-road traffic.
  5. I have seen many times the opposite side of the car from incoming traffic and their beam is really not straight on road, one is point down and other is pointing sideways. I am curious to know what is the reason for such crooked headlights, I mean what owner must have done to get this result? I am thinking on some headlight upgrades on my car, so need to understand first what all I should not do...! lol.
  6. @ibkiss, any update on your problem....?
  7. This is totally frustrating, but I am not taking anyone side here. I am just curious to know which fuel you have been using regularly....? I hope i's not eplus as its 91 octane and may be it caused this issue (just a thought).
  8. I think lower crude price is better for everyone except the oil industry guys only, as lower crude will create defaltion in all other industries and increase buying power for all of us. I don't mean to sound like Karl marx but this seems logical to my mind.
  9. My Audi A4 2006 model is stalling while driving initially for 5 minutes and stop in traffic, it gets switched off automatically. Once car is fully warmed after 10 minutes of driving it is not getting stalled. It happened with me 3-4 time in one week and car is regularly serviced and it still has about 6500 kms until next service. Appreciate if anyone can help fixing or identify the cause of this problem, hope its not big issue. Thanks in advance.
