  1. If motor and fuse is fine, then only thing to doubt is wiper connection and wiper itself might be stuck with something underneath.
  2. Read the trouble code with OBD tool and see what is freaking, Dont ignore such warning for safety reason. Good luck dude.
  3. Running same tire for whole life of tire isnt good, So if you every 10k cross rotation and every 20k full rotation you can get more miles out of your tyres. Cross means: front both goes to back in same order and rear comes to front in same order. Full means: front both goes to back in same order and rear comes to front in opposite order (left rear to right front and vice versa).
  4. Its the level of HC (Hydro Carbon) they check, your must be old or high km engine, its quite common. If not then your engine must have been abused with late oil change many times to have high HC count.
  5. Yes it was self, we changed and its fine there after. Sorry for late reply.
  6. Indeed its easy to change. Remove the cooling fan by placing a 32mm wrench on the fan nut and striking it with a large hammer to the right. When doing this the wrench should be held almost vertical and strike it quickly straight down on the left side of the end while holding tension on the wrench to the right. If you need to change whole fan assembly including the viscose clutch, then remove radiator hose, air filter pipe, shroud, then take out fan and loosen the belt from pulley.

  8. Different school of thoughts is the right word to express this. Japanese cars slam hard on softest bake pedal touch. German cars (esp luxury segment) apply softly but if u go full pedal it will also slam hard. Its not a flaw, its the way ur car is designed with considering the luxury option of not jerking everyone on soft pedal braking.
  9. Remove battery and refix battery and start the car. If lock programming got hanged it will release, if it doesn't then lock itself gone bad or it need to be opened thru ECU thru OBD II connector.
  10. Its a recall issue, contact AGMC and they will fix this free of cost. Read below. Just googled it. Campaign Number: 05V504000 Dates Manufactured: 08/2005 to 09/2005 Model Years Affected: 2006 Date Owner Notified: 11/2005 Defect Summary: CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT WITH AN INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PARKING PAWL GUIDE PLATE. Consequence Summary: THIS COULD CAUSE THE PARKING LOCK SYSTEM NOT TO ENGAGE, AFTER THE TRANSMISSION IS PLACED IN THE PARK ("P") POSITION. IF THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON AN INCLINE, AND THE PARKING BRAKE WAS NOT ENGAGED, THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ROLLAWAY CONDITION. Corrective Summary: DEALERS WILL REPAIR AND REPLACE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GUIDE PLATE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 30, 2005.
  11. Check the coil springs,if it has lost strength ad lower the vehicle causing this rubbing sidewall.
  12. How is Z4 as oppose to z3, same sluggish and unreliable grap of junk. Im considering for my daughter but owing one z3 in past keep me little away from Z4 too. I used to get my head bbq in my Z3 in dubai summers. An honest reply is highly appreciated.
  13. Icon auto and Munich motors is good option for quality job, they both are lil expensive but with good pro quality www.icon-auto.com www.munichmotorworks.ae
  14. Since i bought 2005 X5 last year, its odometer display is dying slowly slowly and and its getting difficult to read all info displayed there. AGMC told changing whole display unit is the only way. Is there is any easy cheaper fix.
  15. It depends on engine oil life which you used: 5k kms, 10k kms, 15k kms. If you got this car recently used one then look for service record booklet and see when was last service done. Or check for sticker on driver door pillar inside. Also in 5 series service warning light appear due its age, but better if its used car you bought change oil and filter always help so that you can keep track of it.
