Hi teajay, I respect your opinion can you please state the reason why all US specs are cheaper by 30% - 50% in UAE market? I have never owned a US specs due to the horror story I heard and seen one of my friend who got Mustang few years back and he only used to drive in winter and not summer as car use to heat up and AC cooling was not sufficient for Dubai heat. May be he experience this ups and downs cycle as he kept car for 3 years and then sold for 50% of the purchase price as there were no taker of US specs Mustang in the market as there were several US Mustang was standing idle. If you search live inventory of any online car website here in UAE you will find 1:10 ratio of 1 GCC mustang vs 10 US specs. Please explain why people demand GCC more even though if its 30% - 50% more expensive?

Reason is simple mate, as GCC and US specs are different due to climate need and it cost extra to manufacture GCC specs. On top GCC dealers are more hungry who markup 20% more on each car than US cars. Third 90% US cars are flooded, stolen or accidental damage. You get what you pay, simple.

Treks, I never knew car computer connection can be so complicated and so "stupid" at the same time. What is the point in having a fault code mechanism that doesn't tell what exactly is at fault? At most it need to have some fail-safe mode that if some one critical CAN / ECU / BUS / TRUCK failed then it should stop the car and ask owner to change that one specific component than leaving this ambiguous mess with almost no guarantee. Even more surprising is, that this is coming from Audi on which I have high respect of using most advanced technology to use and inform the car owner all the time. I have seen the fail-safe mode first time in 1999 in Kenwood home theater system and it trigger automatically to save the whole system and in end that one circuit was replaced in less than 50 USD to fix that system. From 1999 - 2016 and still Car technology cannot implement such measure in automotive computers in 17 years....? Why....?

Well not stronger but more capable in case of 4x4 and proper off-road SUV. Bigger tire gives better flotation for sand driving and also lift the car body by few cms which makes them less prone to stuck and dig-in easily. In cars (sedan), people fitting bigger tires I think it's only for looks. May be someone here will add more valid reason for this as well. Car pulling power depends on engine and any additional engine modification will make it stronger or capable and not just tire upgrade. Actually it backfires more on power if you install bigger tire, car will be less capable if no engine modification is done.

In simple words, avoid Turbo cars and I am really surprise that why Audi still hung up with turbo engines, when whole world switched to supercharge. In Turbo engine, all depends on how much PSI pressure turbo is adding on the engine to produce additional hp from dinky 2.0 poor engine. In ideal world 0.75 bar pressure is just barely enough to get extra hp simultaneously keeping happy engine lifespan. Anything more than this would get you immediate more hp, but slash couple of years from engine lifespan. @hanif class action is thing of US, here in UAE there is no class action I have ever heard as law doesn't permit of class action. At least that was the case in one of the property developer who failed to deliver on time and all buyer wants to use class action and all legal lawyer told this to us back in 2012. Check if now anything have changed or not. Only way to force car dealer here is request nicely, and then force them on emails and written communication and not on verbal word of confidence.
