Special Service Campaign Statement: Safety Recall for limited numbers of Audi A8 vehicles manufactured between April 2007 and June 2008
In coordination with the UAL Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy. Audi Middle East announces a Special Service Campaign for a limited number of Audi AS vehicles which will be effective immediately.
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 07.08.16. Al Nabooda Automobiles and Ni and Sons the exclusive distributors of Audi in the UAE, released the following statement:
'Audi AG has determined that the glass panel for the sliding sunroof may not have been sufficiently bonded to the sunroof's frame on Audi AS vehicles manufactured within a limited period. If the glass panel becomes loose when the vehicle is moving, this may endanger other road users betind the vehicle.
All affected vehicles will require to be examined and repaired where necessary'. All repairs for this Issue will be free of charge.
In Dubai / Northern Emirates there are a total of 207 affected vehicles and in Abu Dhabi / Al Ain there are 54 vehicles.
In the interests of delivering the highest standards of Audi quality and customer care, Al Nabooda Automobiles (Dubai and Northern Emirates) and All and Sons (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain) will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the Situation and update them on next steps.
