    Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Left (Driver Side) Second Row Seat Recliner Does Not Lock 2014 - 2015 YM Odyssey 

    In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Trading Enterprises Company LLC announces a recall campaign for 2014 - 2015 YM Odyssey. 

    United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Trading Enterprises Company LLC, 12th April 2018, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Honda Motor Company, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign on 911 units 
    of 2014 - 2015 YM Odyssey in the UAE. 

    In the subject vehicles there is a possibility, the recliner mechanism of left (driver side) second row seat may malfunction and prevent seat-back from locking. If a vehicle with an unlocked seat-back is involved in a crash, the seat will not operate as designed to protect the occupant. 

    All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. 

    In the interests of delivering the highest standards, of Honda quality and customer care, Trading Enterprises Company LLC will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the recall and arrange service booking accordingly as soon as the countermeasure parts are available from Honda Motor Company.
