    Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Front Seat Frame Rivets 2018 YM Pilot

    In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Trading Enterprises Company LLC announces a recall for 2018 YM Pilot. 

    United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Trading Enterprises Company LLC, 6th May 2018, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, released the following statement: 

    Following communication with Honda Motor Company, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign on 15 units of 2018 YM Pilot in the UAE. 

    In the subject vehicles there is a possibility, the front seats were manufactured with defective seat frame rivets. If a vehicle with defective seat frame rivets is involved in a crash, the seat will not operate as designed to protect the occupant. 

    All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. 

    In the interests of delivering the highest standards, of Honda quality and customer care, Trading Enterprises Company LLC will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the recall and arrange service booking accordingly as soon as the countermeasure parts are available from Honda Motor Company.
