Inspecting Integrated circuit relay box module
Al Majid Motors Co. exclusive distributor of KIA in United Arab Emirates released the following statement:
In coordination with UAE Ministry of Economy - Competition Consumer Protection Department - and in line with keenness of ministry to conduct an ongoing review for all product in the UAE and provide the consumers with highest protection level. Al Majid Motors Co. as KIA sole dealer announces a safety recall campaign on KIA carnival.
Following communication with KIA motors Co., Al-Majid Motors has started a recall campaign on 3,239 KIA carnival produced between 10/06/2005 ~ 11/04/2014.
This campaign aims to inspect Integrated Circuit Relay Box module and install new cover and/or replace the module on some Carnival vehicles, which might exhibit damage in the module due to moisture ingress.
In the interests of delivering the highest standards of KIA quality and customer care, Al Majid Motors has begun contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and arrange booking accordingly.
For further clarification, customer may contact Al Majid Motors Customer Care Center on 800-KIAUAE (800-542823) from 08:00 am ~ 08:00 pm- Saturday to Thursday.
