Recall for E-Class (213 platform), S-Class (222 platform), G-Class (463 platform) with DISTRONIC PLUS Model Year 2016,2017,2018

In coordination with the Ministry of Economy -Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the keenness of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an ongoing review of all the products in the UAE and provide the customer with the required protection,
Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company announce that the following Recalls will be carried out in the UAE for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Power steering control unit 
E-Class (213 platform), S-Class (222 platform)
Model Year 2017
VIN range:213 0481A 182523 222 F 316061 until F 320810

ESP software 
G-Class (463 platform) with DISTRONIC PLUS
Model Year 2016, 2017,2018
VIN range: 463 X 243115 until X 286779
 

The announcement has been aligned.jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy -Department of Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles, which are imported in UAE. 

Any necessary rectification work will be free of charge for the customers. 

Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company will be contacting all respective customers requesting all customers who 
own an affected vehicle to have their vehicles inspected: 

The VIN appears on the plate attached to the driver's door jamb and on a plate fastened to the top of the dashboard on the driver's side.
