Recall Campaign Statement: Passenger Airbag NISSAN NAVARA MODELYEAR 2008-2015 

In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy— Competition Consumer Protection Department, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Nissan Middle East announces a Recall Campaign for the NISSAN NAVARA-2008 to 2015 models which will begin effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 11th December, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobile distributor of Nissan in the UAE, released the following statement:

Following communication with Nissan Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 4'297 NAVARA vehicles from MY 2008-2015 in the UAE. 

There is a potential defect in the Airbag Inflators used in the Passenger Airbag. Nissan will replace the Passenger Airbag Inflator on affected vehicles with improved ones at no cost to the customers.

In the Interest of delivering the quality and customer care highest Standards of NISSAN, Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobile will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps.
