    Recall Campaign Statement: Passenger Airbag NISSAN SUNNY, X-TRAIL, PATROL MODEL YEAR 2009-2012 

    In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy—Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, NISSAN Middle East announces a Recall Campaign for the NISSAN SUNNY, X-TRAIL and PATROL 2009 to 2012 models which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 24''' April, 2017 : Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles distributors of Nissan in the UAE, released the following statement:

    Following communication with NISSAN Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 3,713 vehicles from MY 2009-2012 in the UAE. 

    There is some possibility that Passenger Airbag Module did not perform well due to the effect of environmental moisture and fluctuating high temperatures. NISSAN has decided to replace the Passenaer Airbag inflator at no cost to the customers. 

    In the Interest of delivering the quality and customer care highest Standards of NISSAN, Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps.
