Recall Campaign Statement —Electronic Parking Brake in Subaru Legacy/Outback 2015 Models
In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy — Department of Consumer Protection and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Al Khoory Automobiles announces a Recall Campaign Statement for Subaru Legacy/Outback 2015 models which will be effective in the UAE from XX-XX-XXX.
Following communication from Fuji Heavy Industries, we have started a Recall campaign affecting 46 Subaru Legacy and Outback 2015 MY in UAE.
In some of these vehicles, the Parking Brake might not be released. This phenomenon is caused due to the fault in the software of VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control). Reprogramming of the ECM will optimize the software to resolve this issue.
In the interests of delivering the highest standards of Subaru quality and customer care, Al Khoory Automobiles will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps.
