We expect every member that joins this drive to go through below information and and strictly follow these guidelines in order not to jeopardize someone's health, and to ensure we can keep organizing these drives safely. We will not share spare radios or program your radio on the drive. If you need assistance in programming the radio, post a topic on the Carnity website with your questions and we will help you out. Make sure your radio is fully charged. It will be your only way of communication while driving. Before buying, please carefully read below advice so you are informed properly on which model / cost / shops... No radio = No drive. It is an essential tool and you should make sure you bring it on every drive and learn/practice how to use it. Drive Details Level: Intermediate and Above When: July 31 2020, Friday.   3. Join Carnity Offroad Club for a Thrilling Drive in the white sands of Al Faqa. For new fewbies, it's time to see the difference between new levels and for old fewbies it's time to see what a great technical challenge small and cute looking dunes can offer. Al Faqa white sands is not for faint hearted and not for hyper excited drivers, as it will test your precision control and tolerance to the max. Slight misjudgment will cause an instant refusal/stuck on one hand and over excitement might cost you a bumper on another hand. WHAT ITEMS SHOULD I BRING? You should be equipped with the Essential Tools listed in the attachment below. If any of these tools are not in your possession you can be rejected from joining this drive.   4. Due to the shortage of time last week, there was some unfinished business on the dunes south of the Solar Panels. So lets attempt to reach there this time starting from Al Faqa. The area provides long range dunes that offer a perfect playground to ramp up the pace a bit and stretch the legs of both car and driver. We will explore the area, and alternate between side sloping, ridge crossing, and enjoy whatever this area has to offer. This drive is for Fewbie and above level only. We will explore the area, and alternate between side sloping, ridge crossing, and enjoy whatever this area has to offer. This drive is for Intermediate and above level only. Please check if you have all required tools and gear on board as per your assigned drive level.   7. As the early morning weather is getting little better, so its been decided to split the Intermediate drive from midnight to early morning to experience both night drive and day drive in one go. Plan is to start bit late and drive for 2-3 hours in night, then take a break and then enjoy the fast pace morning drive in some amazing set of dunes in Al faqa desert. Al Faqa desert is famous for its long range tall dunes that are fun to drive at good pace for ridge riding, side sloping and testing your offroad skills. The drive is for Intermediates and above only.     With the last couple of weeks being more relaxed drives, its time to up the pace at Al Faqa which is famous for its long range dunes. It would be a first time we would be having a night drive in Al Faqa area, this season. The drive is for Intermediates and above only. In the end, we will settle down in a good spot to have Suhoor before the dawn and return to tarmac before the sunrise.   9. With the new group of Fewbie Drivers who have been with Carnity Off Road Club over the past few months, the time is right to up the challenge at Al Faqa Desert. This is the first time Carnity would be visiting this area this season. The area offers a varied terrain from short to long range dunes with plenty of opportunity for side slopping and ridge cutting. Depending on how the convoy feels the route can be altered a bit along the way. As the evening weather is still quite good, those who wish can stay back for a nice relaxing chat in the desert. Although it's not very tricky or difficult area, but due to its white sand in most of the area it does get little tricky to read at times.
